After my lunch, I visit the Al-Amar Express, a Lebanese restaurant. It is located in front of Fahrenheit88 Mall. You will notice they sell Turkish ice cream. It is sold at RM10 per portion, it can be either on a cone or in a cup.
Turkish ice cream is actually called Dondurm, it is normally made from ingredients like cream, whipped cream, salep, mastic (plant resin), and sugar. It is believed to originate from the city and region of Maraş and hence also known as Maraş ice cream.
Two qualities distinguish Turkish ice cream: hard texture and resistance to melting
When I am there, there are strawberries, chocolate, vanilla, mango, and caramel flavor. I order for myself a strawberry flavor.
