Today after watching a movie at Ekocheras cinema, I have my lunch at 9 Kopitiam which is also located inside the same mall.

After looking at the menu, I ordered their Classic 9 Hainanese Chicken Chop. After including the 6% service tax, the total cost of the food is RM20.05.

For those who don't know about the Hainanese chicken chop, it was invented by Hainanese migrant workers during the Malaya period. The cuisine is similar to the American chicken fried steak but different on sides; the gravy is made with black pepper sauce or sometimes Worcestershire sauce, and the dish comes with a side of fries and vegetables.

The Classic 9 Hainanese Chicken Chop contains one chicken chop with broccoli and potato wedges as a side. The sauce is black pepper sauce. The chicken chop size is huge. Overall, I am pleased with the meal and feel fulfilled after eating it.
