Today I visit the 8 Ounce Coffee at KLCC to have my breakfast.
Two things in the shop caught my attention to come here to have my breakfast.
one is the Charcoal croissant, it is sold at RM6 per piece. The second is dirty milk piccolo latte, it is sold at RM12 per cup if you order the hot type and RM13 per cup if you order the cold type.
For those who don't know what croissant is, it is a buttery, flaky, viennoiserie pastry of Austrian origin, named for its historical crescent shape. Croissants are made of layered yeast-leavened dough. The dough is layered with butter, rolled and folded several times in succession, then rolled into a thin sheet, in a technique called laminating. The process results in a layered, flaky texture, similar to a puff pastry.
The charcoal croissant taste similar to a normal croissant except the color of the croissant is black. Some say the charcoal powder has some sort of health benefit but for me, it is just to give it a different color.
The dirty milk piccolo latte is actually a latte with cinnamon. if you are a cinnamon lover, this is the drink for you.
