In a family, the child is the bridge between husband and wife. Just as a husband and wife become anxious after a certain period of time if they do not have children, so too do they face a variety of social questions. That is why children are desirable in the family for an uninterrupted and healthy relationship. But women are losing the ability to bear children in our society due to various reasons. Men are no less responsible for not having children.

By infertility we mean if a husband and wife stay under the same roof for one year without expecting a child and without using birth control methods but still the wife does not conceive. Eighty percent of couples have children in the first year. Ten percent of children are born in the second year. The remaining ten percent do not have children in any way.

If we go to find the cause of infertility, we must first see how the child is born. The amount of eggs laid by a girl child in the beginning is ten to twenty lakes. Gradually when the child becomes an adult or menstruates (menstruation in our country is ten to fourteen years.) Then the number of ovaries in girls is forty thousand. The rest of the eggs are destroyed.

From this time (10-14 years) to 52 years or more, up to 40 years of age, a large number of adult women are losing eggs every month. Only one egg hatches per month. This menstrual period is 28 to 30 days. The ovum hatches on the 13th or 14th day. It then comes to the ovary. If she is married then she is fertilized with sperm after mating with her husband. Then the zygote is formed.

It then enters the uterus. The embryo is formed by holding the uterus. The embryo gradually grows into a human body. It comes into the world through delivery. Thus human children are born. This is the normal way to give birth to a child.

I see in most of my patients that the ovum does not grow. In most cases Polytheistic Ovarian Syndrome- this thing happens. In addition, if there is a thyroid problem or if the hormone projectile is increased, the ovum may not swell or become large.

In addition, endometriosis can often cause the ovum to not grow or develop. Another thing is that the reproductive system in the human body - the uterus, the ovaries on both sides of the uterus below the menstrual passage or vagina. If someone has a problem or obstruction in the ovaries, it is also a problem to have a normal child.

The barrier is mainly from infection. If someone's ovary is cut off due to infection or if someone is given a tumor ligation, then even if the husband and wife have intercourse, the egg will not be fertilized.

Now let's come to the case of the uterus. There may be a tumor in the uterus. If there is a problem with this, if the fetus does not have a chance to be transplanted into the uterus, or if the skin of the uterus is thin for some reason, then the fetus will not be transplanted there. Then the woman will be considered incapable of conceiving.

Now let's come to the problem of the cervix. If there is a problem due to infection, if the cervix is narrow, if the semen is prevented from entering the uterus for any reason, then the child cannot be born.

Finally, let's talk about the vagina. Husband and wife cannot have sexual intercourse if the vaginal passage is curved, if there is any kind of membrane in the vaginal passage or if there is anything in the mouth of the vagina. Or if for some reason the sperm cannot enter the uterus, then there will be no child.

If there is a problem around the reproductive system, it prevents the baby from being born.

And sometimes there is no reason not to have children. In other words, husband and wife do not have any problem, both of them are healthy but the child does not come in the womb, such incidents can happen. This happens in 10-15 percent of cases.

Problems that men do not have children

From what I have said for so long, these are the physical problems of women. Men may not be able to have children because of physical problems. Now let's talk about men's problems. If the man does not have sperm or if the sperm is low, if there is any problem in their intercourse, then the child will not be born.

Male sperm is lost due to various reasons. Men often work in the heat. Especially those who live in the Middle East, they have to work in a lot of heat. Even taking a bath in hot water or wearing nylon underwear destroys sperm.

If someone has a mumps at an early age or if there is an operation in or around the penis and testicles, or if there is a sexually transmitted disease like syphilis gonorrhea - then the sperm can be lost. Again, many take a variety of drugs. Drugs that cause side effects include loss of fertility. However, many times for unknown reasons, husband and wife can lose the ability to conceive or give birth to children.
