Today is the 110th birth anniversary of Mother World.
Mother Teresa was born on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.
He was the youngest child of Niccolo and Drana Bayazur. Their original home was in Albania. His father was involved in Albanian politics. He lost his father in 1919 when he was only eight years old. After his father's death, his mother raised him in the Roman Catholic faith. According to the biography of Joan Graph Clucas, little Agnes loved to hear stories of the life and work of missionaries. At the age of 12, he decided to lead a religious life. At the age of 18, she left home and joined the Sisters of Loreto as a missionary. He never met his mother and sisters again.
Agnes first went to study English at Loreto Abbey in Rothfernham, Ireland. Because this language was the medium of instruction of Sisters of Loreto in India. He came to India in 1929 and started working as a novice in Darjeeling. On May 24, 1931, she took her first oath as a nun.
Teresa has seen many poor people die on the streets of Kolkata. He was frightened when he saw an unconscious woman. Half of the body has started eating rats and ants. Mother Teresa decided that no one would be allowed to die alone. He decided to set up a shelter for the dying and, with the help of the city authorities, turned an abandoned house next to a Hindu temple into a ‘Home for the Dyeing’. Later it was named 'Nirmal Hridaya'.
The people on the way to death get some peace and respect in the shelter of this center. Get medical treatment and food in the stomach. To date, about 40,000 people have received their last refuge in this center.
On the long journey to Darjeeling by train in 1948, a deep consciousness awoke in his mind, as if he had heard the word of God. His mission is to serve the poorest of the poor. In 1948, with the approval of the pope, she left the convent and formed the Order of Sisters. The Missionaries of Charity, founded in 1950, is recognized by the Vatican.
The Missionaries of Charity, which he founded with a capital of only five rupees, has now expanded to hundreds of branches around the world. Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 in recognition of her service to humanity. He donated Rs 15 lake for the Nobel Prize and Rs 1 crore for other prizes.
In 1960, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award.
Mother Teresa suffered her first heart attack in 1973 during a visit to Rome to meet Pope John Paul II. After another heart attack in 1989, an artificial pacemaker was implanted in his body.
While living in Mexico in 1991, he contracted pneumonia, which further aggravated his heart condition. In this situation, he offered to step down as head of the Missionaries of Charity. But the charity's nuns requested Teresa to remain chief after a secret ballot. Inevitably Teresa continues to work as the head of the charity.
Caller's sister broke down in April 1997. He contracted malaria in August. In addition, the ventricles of his left heart were unable to carry blood. On March 13, 1997, he resigned as head of the Missionaries of Charity. This majestic woman died on September 05 of the same year.
Today is Mother Teresa's happy birthday.
