No Obstacle Stops Before Our Dreams

0 32

How do you feel during your unsuccessful moments? I'm sure many of you will immediately get desperate and wonder how incompetent you are. Don't worry, you are not alone in this. Thousands, even millions of people like me and I can be pessimistic just like you. This is very normal actually. "It wasn't, I can't, I'm not like them." Many more thoughts cross our minds in such situations.

Just at that moment when these annoying thoughts enter your mind, think about the examples where primary school teachers said “This child will not be anything” and that later marked history. Who knows what bumpy roads they have passed to achieve success.

Especially there are names that fascinate us all, despite their physical disabilities, and I think words are not enough to describe them. In today's article, I would like to share with you brief information about 5 of them that perhaps most impressed me.

Helen Keller

Frankly, I don't know how to explain it or where to start. Imagine a person who is both visually impaired, hearing and speaking impaired. Despite this, it almost fascinates people with what they have done and achieved.

Helen Keller was born as a healthy baby in America in 1880. Unfortunately, she is blind and deaf as a result of an illness before the age of 2. Helen's best chance, perhaps, is meeting Anne Sullivan, her trainer and friend, with whom she will spend about 50 years, with the help of signs arranged at home until she is 7 years old.

If you don't know much about Helen Keller, I recommend reading the books written for her and watching the movies that tell about her life. You can be sure that it will take you quite a bit of time if I start listing your actions here.

I think the most important lesson we can learn from his life will be this; No matter where life starts us from, there is nothing one cannot achieve with proper training (which he was lucky to have) and a little perseverance.

Stephen hawking

For Stephen Hawking, it would not be wrong to say that he is the greatest genius of all people who have ever lived. I would like to add that the most important feature that distinguishes this genius from other scientists is that he can fight ALS for more than 50 years. You know, they say, so that it doesn't happen to my enemy, as ALS is just such a disease.

Of course, many of you have heard of ALS with the ice bucket challenge, which shook the world years ago. But how much do you know about the disease? After learning about the lives of people with ALS, I'm sure you'll understand better why I call Stephen Hawking the most genius person of all time.

If Stephen Hawking was able to sign all this scientific work using only his eyes, just imagine what we can achieve if we, if you want, really, really want.

Andrea Bocelli

Believe me, I don't know what I would do without music in my life. Although there are many bands, singers and musicians that I listen to with admiration and tirelessly as a person who listens to music of all styles, I cannot pass without mentioning that I find peace in the voices of a few of them.

You wouldn't be surprised if I say one of them is Andrea Bocelli, would you?

Although I thought he was luckier than the other names on the list, he could have taken a completely different path after his world went dark, but he wanted to accompany the world he could not see with his voice. We are lucky that this magnificent sound brought us together with peace and love and of course beautiful music.

The fact that he can be riding a horse even though he is visually impaired will perhaps inspire me who wanted so much but never tried.

Lauren Wasser

Unfortunately, there are those among us who do not know about this magnificent woman. This beautiful person, who returned from death and lost one leg due to Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), which he had while being a successful model, unfortunately loses his other leg after a while from his illness.

Despite all this, instead of giving up modeling, she clings to life and returns to the fields with the nickname "Golden Legs".

Considering that the first thing that comes to our mind when it comes to modeling is walking, I guess you can think about how difficult a legless model will have in the industry. However, despite everything, instead of being embittered, she uses her reputation to raise awareness so that others do not experience her experiences.

Actually, there are so many inspirations that I would like to write for the last article. For example, Frida Kahlo (can you think of a list without it !?) or Christy Brown (she's a complete success story), Nick Vujicic, Sue Austin (underwater diving is a visual feast) and much more.

However, until last week I had not even heard of it, I saw it as a result of a social media sharing, I was happy while I was crying while watching the video, I felt lucky, and later said, You can find another success story that I think is a beautiful person who has never given up and has come to this day.

Say what? Whether we are disabled or not, when there are so many inspiring examples in the world, we can achieve our dreams if we “really want”, right?

I would like to close with a word I like very much. Stay in peace with the hope that it will be good for your soul.
