Supporters of Bitcoin Cash have been discussing the Infrastructure Financing Plan (IFP) for the past few days after Bitcoin ABC issued a statement announcing its implementation in an upcoming release. The concept has also received different responses, with the community discussing the situation on forums and social media. After the community responded to the Bitcoin ABC blog, BTC.TOP founder Jiang Zhuoer released an updated version of the plan the next day.

Discussions by Jiang Zhuoer to update the Bitcoin Cash infrastructure financing plan continue , members of the BCH community have been discussing infrastructure financing after Bitcoin ABC told the public that it will implement the code for the plan in the 0.21.0 ABC software release Program (IFP) Updates. The plan has made some changes to the previously discussed proposals, including a 5% coinbase reward, a BIP-9-like voting method and threshold, and "available for" multiple projects and one of several projects on the whitelist " Of funds . ABC's white list includes "general funds, ABC, BCHD, Electron Cash" .

On the r / btc forum, Roger's Reddit account emphasized: "For now, unless more consensus in the ecosystem makes the risk of chain forks negligible, Bitcoin.com will not support any plans. _ " _ after Roger statement, BTC.TOP founder Jiang Thatcher published another article on read.cash platform called " donation program again to update the miners BCH (BCH miner donation plan update again) ".

Jiang Zhuoer's latest blog post is much shorter than his two previous blog posts on IFP topics. The article is also in line with the Bitcoin ABC announcement and further discusses the voting threshold and coinbase donation amount. Jiang Zhuoer's latest IFP update states:

  1. Hash voting will be started. If 2/3 hash power agrees, donation will be started. I think miners still have the right to vote on how to spend their output. 2. Miners donate 5% of the output, and miners can choose several donation objects: General Fund, ABC, BCHD, Electron Cash. 3. The donation lasts 6 months (a version is only valid for 6 months). I recommend stopping donations after 6 months and then turning them on again to prevent them from becoming permanent rules. 4. There are still many objections, and I tend to donate after the community should reach a basic consensus. If this is not possible, you can build a general fund first, run the voluntary donation to see the effect, and then proceed to the next hashrate vote.

Block 622509, Bitcoin Verde & Bitcoin; Unlimited
In addition to Jiang Zhuoer ’s latest blog post , BCH block # 622509 mined by SBI crypto.com also left a coinbase message indicating "NO" and a link to the Bitcoin ABC announcement. There are also reviews from full-node developers like Bitcoin Verde and Bitcoin Unlimited.

The SBIcrypto.com pool has mined a bitcoin cash block. The coinbase message reads "NO" with a link to the Bitcoin ABC announcement. Bitcoin Verde's Joshua Green tweeted an announcement about Bitcoin ABC and questioned why Verde was excluded . Than Bitcoin Unlimited chief scientist of Peter in Tianjin (Peter Rizun) on Twitter also published the news. Rizun said: "Amaury Sechet is actually revising the BCH protocol to issue coins to him and his friends ... Because of the [Poison Pill Project], miners and exchanges must upgrade before May 15. If they as usual download the new version of ABC, then by default the success of his plan. "
Greg Maxwell spoiler
except against IFP, before Blockstream developer Greg Maxwell (Greg Maxwell) also seems upset. In an r / btc post initiated by Greg Maxwell, he claimed that a message from Amaury Sechet (Deadalnix) told him that he would create a version of Bitcoin ABC without IFP. The Github code linked by Maxwell shows the ABC version without IFP and again states "Amaury Sechet asked me to publish this content."

Former Blockstream CTO Greg Maxwell appeared on the Reddit forum r / btc to discuss IFP. He also claims that he was asked to build an IFP-free version of Bitcoin ABC. "It's completely untested and may not even compile." Maxwell later insulted BCH at the end of the comment. Maxwell's post, wording, and IFP free code have caused controversy among r / btc supporters. Not many people believe Maxwell's words, and many of his comments have been rejected throughout the post. Maxwell is also known for his involvement in the hash wars in November 2018, as he was claimed to be helping Craig Wright.
Public discussions with negative emotions are worthy of confirmation.
IFP discussions are still ongoing, and read.cash and r / btc are full of posts and articles on the subject. Regarding the heated debate, if anything can be said now, it is that at least people have open forums to discuss this situation.
Back in 2015, when Bitcoin supporters were trying to debate increasing block sizes, the host of the most popular Bitcoin Reddit forum reviewed all those who agreed to increase the block size. Currently, in the world of Bitcoin Cash, no censorship is happening, and even Blockstream developer Greg Maxwell can speak freely on the BCH forum.
