As i was waiting for my turn to pay for my groceries at the supermarket ,my mind is busy doing mental calculation of my purchases. Somehow asking myself if all of it will be covered by my cash on hand. I was delighted that in just a few minutes it's already my turn to pay. A big change compared during the peak of pandemic wherein it took hours for us to reach the cashier section due to long line of consumers that goes until outside of the supermarket, but just thinking that time that we already have our month of supplies are always worth the long wait.

As expected im short of cash so i pay half of my bill thru gcash payment. The process took some time coz i was not able to connect easily because of poor wifi connections in the area. It was succesful anyway. Again the process and wait are always worth it.

My big thanks first to @AyaMedel of noise.cash ( i dont know if he is in here too) for his series of questions about the "process" that led me to write this article.

Are you familiar with the short story of patience " The King and the Old Woman?". I don't exactly know the original author of this story but it was retell many times and can be googled anytime with different story version. I summarized the story for you.

The King and the Old Woman

Once there was a great King who got lost in the woods and met an Old Woman. The old woman welcomed the king upon seeing him,mistaken him as one of the soldier in the army. The old lady served the king a hot meal.Since the king was so hungry he devour the food quickly causing to burnt himself and spilled some food on the floor.

The old lady noticed it and said, you are too impatient like your King that is why you were burnt and lost some food. The King was surprised and asked, " Why do you think our King is impatient?."

The old lady replied that the Kings impatience to defeat the enemies led to losing of his men in the army. By ignoring all the small forts and focusing on the big forts results to death of some of his men. The King should target the small forts and strengthen his position , that way he will capture the big forts without losing his men said the old lady.

The same way that if you eat your food slowly at the edge first you would not have burnt yourself and not wasted some food , add wisely by the old lady.

The King understood and realized that one should have PATIENCE and avoid HASTE in any situation to achieve a result that you have wanted.

Process and Procedure

According to Oxford dictionary , "Process" means a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end while "Procedure" is an established or official way of doing something.

Almost everything in our lives , one way or the other we will go through a series of process and procedures. It's inevitable. We can't just do things instantly like magic.

From waking up in the morning , eating breakfast and taking a shower before heading in the office or school requires actions to do . We can't just skip the process and have the particular result we wanted without taking some actions, without waiting patiently , without undergoing a process.

A beautiful flower start as a bud ,requires sometime to bloom as a beautiful one .

A baby was carried by her mother on her womb for nine full months before seeing the outside world.

A drivers license requires a Technical Driving Course and Practical Driving Course certicate, medical exams etc .. for you to have one.

So many things in order for us live harmoniously with each other requires patience.

Do you have patience?

Patience is to accept or tolerate delays or suffering without getting upset or angry. Without blaming other people with the negative results of your being impatient. If we want positive and quality results we should understand first the process and we should work on it. Being impatient always get a negative results.

As the saying goes..We cannot expect fruit from the day we plant the seed. Same goes to my joining these platform. I need to work hard , grind , learn the process and procedures and patiently wait for admins to notice me. And it is always proven in my experiences. That patience always lead me to get good results.
