I have read an article of @JustMyRambles01( my thanks to you!) recently about a certain twit he bumped into regarding people who are living and raised in a third world country. It triggers something in me. Make me want to talk about it more. Enlighten some people perhaps who know nothing at all about the people , about "US" who belong and live in a so called " Third World country".

Third World country

According to Wikipedia - the term " Third World" arose during the Cold war to define countries that remained non aligned with either NATO or the Warsaw pact.Wherein the United States and Canada to name a few represented the first world.Second World are the Communist bloc and the Third World who does not belong to either world who are allies.

But today , the term Third World has decreased in use because of its degrading connotations.It was replace now with the terms such as " developing countries " or " least developed countries". Meanings nowadays varies and there is no agreed-definition of the Third World.

But again, for some peoples understanding they probably think that "Third World" means poor countries with uneducated and uncivilized people in it.

Our Education System

Though i can only speak for myself as a Filipino . We might not be on the top when it comes to the Educational standards set by the international commitees or whatever they call it but we are trying our best to upgrade our educational standards. We are literate enough to understand what is lacking and need improvements. Not everyone has the privileged to continue their studies and have a bachelors degree but our government are doing their best to meet the educational needs of the people little by little. Finding ways for out of school youths to continue their education through ALS or Alternative Learning System.

Yes the country may be " least developed" but the people are willing to learn , willing to try new things .Striving hard to finish their studies and give pride to our country and not tearing the country down.

Traits

We Filipinos are known for our " hospitality". Even if we have not much to offer we'll make sure to offer you something to make you feel at ease and comfortable. We are going to welcome you whatever race or color you are.

As one of the " happiest people" around the globe despite difficulties and struggles that come our way is a sure confirmation that we are strong people to get up again when we stumble and fall.

Our " hard working attitude " are manifested around the globe. We have lots of overseas workers ,professionals and skilled that serve as our countrys pride.

"Talent " of the people are also known globally. Wether in singing,sports and beauty. Lea Salonga , Manny Pacquiao , Pia Wurztback ,Hidilyn Diaz to name a few.

Final thoughts

What im just trying to say is , wether we are part of the " least developed" countries. We are still capable of doings great things. We know how to respect. We acknowledged the fact that there are rich and poor countries .We understand what's going on in our world. That we have different colors and races but we are all part of just " One World" wether you belong to first ,second,third or fourth. . And we have to accept the fact that we are all have different roles in that " JUST ONE WORLD".

Before i end i may ask , If we are all rich whose going to work for us ? and if we are all leaders whose going to follow us?
