What is inspiration or what is motivation?
- This question often comes to our mind. Everyone has an idea about inspiration. But many do not have a clear idea of what exactly is called inspiration.
To clarify that idea, we need to know today what motivation is, and why it is needed to succeed in any aspect of life.
What is motivation/inspiration ?
Marie Johansen, a professor of leadership and digital marketing at Harvard University, defines inspiration as "the motivation that drives a person to work to achieve something."
To give a very simple example, we get food because we are hungry. We have to work to get food. That is, hunger is one of the main motivations behind getting food.
Suppose again that the smell of biryani on the side of the restaurant makes us want to eat it. Many people enter the restaurant knowing that the food is ready at home, or go to the market without going home to buy biryani equipment.
The smell of biryani has served as a motivation here.
In other words, motivation is the reason behind doing something.
The student who is studying very carefully may want to be an engineer or a senior officer. It may be that he wants to learn to read well so that he can apply them in life.
Motivation can be of different types. People do not hesitate to give their lives in war, because maybe she wants to leave a more beautiful country or environment for her child, for future generations. Maybe she imagines her child’s face before jumping into battle.
Then maybe another warrior to fight to avenge the loss of a loved one. Another may win the war for the wealth - for him. I mean for greed.
An employee works all day in the office to earn a living at the end of the month. Maybe his neighbors are working to learn the job better and move to a better position. - It's all inspiration.
Motivation is a cause or condition that motivates a person to do something or to want to do something.
Types of Motivation:
Needs, beliefs, ideals, seeing, hearing, reading, love, hate, violence, greed, anger, joy, sorrow, dreams - all these are the sources of human inspiration.
Faith, love, joy, dreams - etc. inspire people to do good deeds. Brings positive change in their lives.
On the other hand, anger, hatred, violence - these are the things that cause people to do destructive and bad things most of the time. Which makes their lives worse.
Again, some sources of inspiration - such as, need, see, hear, read - can make people do good as well as do bad.
If a person needs a lot of money, he can start working harder to earn that money. Alternative income can be thought of. Again, he may resort to theft, robbery and bribery.
Congenital Inspiration and Environmental Inspiration:
There are innate motivations in human beings that motivate people to do different kinds of work, and in some cases compel them.
"Some motivations are encoded in our DNA," said David McClelland, a world-renowned psychologist who pioneered the "need theory" of motivation.
I talked about hunger at the beginning of writing. It is a motivation that every creature has. If there was no hunger, most people in the world would live without any work. Love for a child like hunger or for people of blood relationship has been with us from birth. There are very few parents in the world who would not give up their lives for their children without hesitation.
There are some inspiration, which is part of the human mindset by influence of the environment and the situation. Hunger-born inspiration, but to learn from the environment to eat special foods.
David McKaland wrote in his book 'The Achieving Society (1961)' that it is possible to teach people or do something through inspiration.
It is possible to grow a desire to do something bigger in him with motivation, so that he works for achieving something big.

Motivation is so strong.
