Many of my plants are planted in plastic containers. Most of them are chopped at the height of the plant that I am going to sow needs, with this I manage to reduce the garbage that I have to throw away. I managed to recycle many soft drink containers, water, juice, and oil and vinegar containers
I make a cut with scissors and with a knife, then I open the holes below the container to drain the water that I'll place in our artisan pot.
Once the pot is ready, I add the substrate that I have available to sow my plant. In this case, I sowed the essential plant of my kitchen, basil, as well as a rosemary plant.
In these small recycled plastic pots I placed various cacti and succulents, which I love. They can grow very well here, until the plant has enough children to spread throughout the pot.
I do that too! But I am always paranoid that something from the plastic will leak to the plant, you know like how people say don't keep the plastic bottles after using them. Do you have that concern? But I guess pots are mostly plastic too :D
