I'm always excited about Sunday Family Day, but of course, need to enjoy and spend the rest of the day with happiness and make those days useful and productive. And Sunday is more special for me, the rest day of my husband at work and our bonding together with our kids. Are you having fun also when it's the family day? Yes, we are, even when no pandemic yet our bonding is food tripping. And now I will share again about the foods we loved. This time I'm going to share our lunch dish, and it's called "Nilagang Baboy". This dish is a familiar dish here in the Philippines. It has soups and veggies like cabbage and potatoes, I just put corn, that makes the soup tastier. Take a look at this picture below:
Yummy! For healthy lifestyles, we do not eat pork meat a couple of times a week, just ones in a week. As you can see in that photo there are pork meat, corn, cabbage, potatoes, and other ingredients. I told you in my other posted article that I always look for affordable but healthy enough food. And the dish with soup is better than dry food and I always prefer food with soup for my children. But let me tell you about pork, it is very common meat but not all people are eating this kind of meat especially Islam, this meat is illegal for other countries. What is in pork? Of course, pork is high in proteins and rich in vitamins and minerals, but eating excessively is not good at all because it contains differing percentages of fat. Like the other meat, it's rich and high in proteins and it is known for a complete dietary source of proteins.
Plus, adding veggies in " Nilagang Baboy" is healthier and again attractive to my children's tastes.
