Why PERMISSION-LESS Peer-to-Peer Cash IS Crucial For Our Future!
Permission-less value transfer methods are KEY if one desires the ability to be “free”!
Many countries are already restricting or limiting cash transactions. I expect more and more to follow. Many countries have announced or are already working on their own electronic “currency”. Since these systems will be centralized (the state is monitoring every transaction), ALL transactions using these systems will be:
Permission-ed - censorship of those deemed “bad actors” will be limited or even completely denied
Tracked/Taxed – ALL transactions can and will be tracked thus making ALL transactions open to increased theft via “taxes”. Theft (via taxes), being so easy to “collect” will skyrocket!
Outside of local (in-person) trade or barter, the only alternative I see are PERMISSION-LESS (decentralized) networks like BitcoinCash (BCH).
Introducing New-Comers to P2PCash
When first educating new-comers to P2PCash, maybe (at first) skip all the technical details and just jump to the idea of a permission-ed vs permission-less future! This is a KEY concept. Then the technical details may become less important. Get them to want to learn, use and become advocates themselves!
Do they want all their transactions tracked & taxed?
Do they want all their transactions to require permission?
If you haven't been a strong advocate for Permission-less P2PCash, why not? If we don't get it done, you can bet the powers that shouldn't be will do it for us!
It is up to all of us!
What do you think?
What have you found most successful in promoting adoption of permission-less P2PCash?
