The winner, the children of Argentina

I talked about the final journey in my article titled The final is born, it's named! We had to wait a few days to get the answer to the most asked question! Most of us can agree that time flies fast and time really does fly fast. Once again, the saying "a day counts fast" proved to be true and a few days have come and gone!

At last, the most asked question has been answered, and I am writing this article after watching the match that answered the question.

As a close follower of the European and World Football Championships, my one prediction is that countries with a form graph that increases as they play are more successful. The final is born, it's named! I mentioned this in my article and said that Argentina was one step ahead according to this prediction...

And in the same article I mentioned that Argentina was one of the teams that won the most penalties until the final. I can say that the Argentina - France final started with an attraction that confirms this statement.

When Argentina won a penalty, I remembered both the sentence in the article and the sentence we used to say when we watched Dembele's matches with friends. This man (Dembele) cannot integrate his mind with the football he plays! To put it a little more crudely, he can't use his mind. To be more harsh; he has no football mind! In the end, it's all the same. He made a mistake too big to be made in a top-level match like the final and was sent off before the end of the half.

As long as he continues to play for top teams and continue to make similar mistakes; it seems that we will continue to say similar things about Dembele.

Argentina was on an upward trajectory in every match, while France was on a downward trajectory in every match. This made Argentina the natural favorites, and they were 2 - 0 up before the half-time whistle. Di Maria was suddenly the star of the match as the question of whether he would play or not was being debated.

Everyone who loves soccer knows that soccer is a game of mistakes. Goals often come from mistakes or are embellished with personal skills. I don't know if it's a behavior specific to the final, but it's certain that there are those like Dembele who can't use their minds well! It was another lack of intelligence to remove the star of the match when the score was only 2 - 0 and the minutes showed 64. Unless Di Maria signaled injury to the sideline at that moment, I might have missed those moments due to the excitement of the match and the mischievous little ones constantly gathered in front of the screen!

As Argentina was counting down for the cup, a scenario similar to the Netherlands match was not even crossing my mind at that moment because France was so bad that it took 70 minutes for them to score their first shot of the match. France couldn't even get close to the goal, let alone score.

As if to remind us once again that football is a game of mistakes, a penalty came to France's rescue. It was a rare opportunity for France, who were struggling to find the back of the net, and if they had said a minute after the penalty that the game would be equal, I would have thought the person who said it was crazy, let alone believed it.

France, who said that if the Netherlands could do it, so could I, suddenly clung to the other handle of the cup with Mbappe. Argentina was in shock as they prepared to take the cup. I was in a good mood until Emmanuel Macron appeared on the screen after France's goal! I don't like this man and even the sight of him is quite repulsive. His political stance and his occasional negative statements about Islam are a bit much, but anyway, that's not the point!

In a competitive event with high stakes and high prize money, it is desirable that the time to decide the winner should be as long as possible. The 2 - 2 score on the scoreboard meant 30 more minutes of soccer fun and mistakes. The score and the extra time was so similar to the match in which Argentina eliminated the Netherlands that it was not hard to guess that the winner would be decided by a penalty shootout.

But both countries showed that they didn't want to take any chances with their clear play until the very end. Argentina was always the first to rejoice throughout the match and extra time, while France chose to come from behind, or had no choice but to!

The excitement of a penalty shootout is indescribable! Even watching it is difficult, but being there and being the player who takes the penalty is a hundred times more difficult. The children of Argentina overcame the challenge and became champions of the biggest organization in football for 4 years.

The 2022 Qatar World Cup went to Argentina. They showed that they prepared very well for the tournament with their rising form graph. I think they deserved it to the end. If they had lost today, I would have been sad.

Yes, it was an exciting match, but also a long one because of the extra time and then the penalties. I can imagine the noise because I was in the position of being exposed to the noise and being the noise maker. :)
