The Curious Stories and Bullshit of Our Flowing Lives

I finished my read.cash journey last night with my dear @Plint friend's article about weird habits, "The Weird and Wonderful World of Toothbrushing".

As a member of the weekend community on the Hive platform, I think he prepared the article there because I saw it there too. He has already stated this at the beginning of the article, but since I read the article on read.cash, I base it here.

In fact, when I was reading the article, I thought of it as his battle with tooth brushing because it was interesting, funny, and a little sarcastic. (these are just my thoughts while reading the article)

If you want to catch the details, you can visit the article by clicking the title above.

I don't use water like dear @Plint when brushing my teeth. I don't have the disgust with him, but I feel more comfortable this way and I feel the effect of brushing more intensely.

In addition, with the knowledge I gained from a dental student years ago, after the brushing process is completed, I rinse my mouth using a little water only once and spit it out, and let some toothpaste stay on my teeth. I was informed that it creates a fluoride effect and ends the sensitivity in the teeth, especially for those who have sensitive teeth and are affected by hot or cold food and drink. It is a habit from those times and just a rumor that has not been investigated, but I can say that it was effective on a few sensitive teeth.

Everyone has a story to tell when it comes to our odd habits. I say from time to time that I enjoy watching football and I bet to increase the pleasure of watching football and to release some adrenaline. I'm also talking about the disadvantages of betting because you could lose all your assets and values if you let it get to you.

I have different totems when watching football, they peak in Galatasaray matches and each has different meanings.

  • If I go to the toilet while the match is being played, Galatasaray will never win that match!

  • If I lean my back on the seat and throw my right leg over my left, Galatasaray will never score!

  • If I lock my middle finger on my index finger, at least one player from Galatasaray will be seriously injured during the match!

I am aware that all of these are nonsense, meaningless and far from science and belief, but I also know that they are superstitions that I have tried for years and have been proven every time.

If you are someone who watches football games regularly and supports a team wholeheartedly, you will understand what I mean.

Similar habits haunt me when it comes to betting. I am watching the Spezia – Roma match played last night and Roma is playing a very effective game.

At the end of the first half, Spezia's K. Amian receives a red from the second yellow card, leaving his team one short. At the beginning of the second half, Roma's activity continues and all the conditions a bettor could wish for take place in the course of the match.

I bet all my money on the only goal to be scored in the match, the overall odds of 0.5 over 1.29, the odds only indicate that if our bet wins, the principal will increase by 29%.

If I am waiting for a goal in the matches I bet on and the way I sit, my back is leaning on the sofa and my feet are lying on the coffee table and are placed on top of each other, the expected goal will never come.

Since Roma were very effective and their opponent was missing one person, I wanted to beat this totem and even though I was waiting for a goal, I switched to a sitting arrangement where the goal would not come.

Aim; Just defeat the simple and pointless totem!

Since I bet the whole house on the goal bet, the advancing time and every missed goal position infuriates me, but I still insist on the same sitting position.

The ball comes back from the post, the goalkeeper kicks out, the last hit expected in carroms never comes and the totem I tried to beat beats me.

At the 89th minute, I break my sitting, but the goals continue to be missed. By the end of the pauses, Roma's headshot returns from the post and there is no golden foot that can complete the spinning ball. The ball is cornered again and it's the last chance!

At that time, the people in the VAR application whisper something in the ear of the referee and the middle referee goes to watch the position on the video by making the screen sign that we are all familiar with. The Spezia player's foot rises towards the ball at head distance and hits the Roma player on the head.

The facial expression of the referee, who returned from watching, will be the first signal of the penalty and the penalty becomes official. In 90+9, when T. Abraham kicks the ball into the net, the bank becomes x 1.29 = xxxx BCH!

My effort to defeat the totem ends when the totem defeats me again. Weird and absurd stories like this are the spice of our lives whether we like it or not.

Stay healthy and friendly!

It's best not to get involved in the betting business, thanks to the lack of time you can stay away. Yes, sometimes surprisingly coincidental and funny.
