Tomy wasn't in the mood to open the door for them, even though he heard voices at the door. A tremor was added to what he felt at that moment, and he could not control himself in his seat. The police wanted to enter the house as soon as possible. Suddenly, the footsteps of the police were heard, who broke the huge steel door in one move with a ram's sledgehammer. Across the broken door was the kitchen, and there was Tomy. Although the kitchen was small, there were almost a dozen cops inside. As soon as they entered with quick steps inside, they overturned the table and caused the kitchen carpet to gather.
A few of them had aimed guns at Tomy, while a few had turned him face down and leaned over him. Tomy saw the omelette plate next to the overturned table. Eggs and tomatoes were scattered on the floor, trampled under the feet of the police. Using force, they tied both of Tomy's hands behind his back and put on reverse handcuffs. Tomy still couldn't make sense of what was going on, couldn't use his strength to ask. At that time, only the power of thought was active. But it was futile for him to think because he couldn't remember anything.
Two cops in his arms lifted Tomy to his feet. Tomy, who could not stand up even though he stood up, was getting support from the police. Other policemen were scattering all over the rooms, searching for something. When Tomy was taken out of his house, he saw how people he knew looked at him with pity. Each of them had neighbors and friends, but no one made a sound.
Tomy, who was put in the team vehicle, was startled by the sound of the doors locking. This was the first time he was locked up and lost his freedom. It was very normal for him to find this strange, because Tomy was the only son of a well-to-do and well-to-do family. Despite not receiving adequate education, he had improved himself in life.
The vehicle was still not moving, Tomy trying to watch the crowd outside, despite the handcuffs tightening his wrists from inside the vehicle. The panic, the fuss, and the trembling were gone, she was very calm. At that moment, a man twice Tomy's age in a suit got into the front of the team car.
-Look, son, the easier you make things, the easier it will be for you.
+What? I do not understand you?
He looked at the man with blank eyes. The man said to himself in a low tone, "Damn, it's the same trick again. He wants to escape punishment by pretending to be crazy, bastard.”
He looked at her face and said; “What is your name?” he asked. “Tomy sir,” he shouted as soon as he got the answer. "Do I have to beat you up for you to talk, or can't I put a gun to your head? Believe me, son, I enjoy doing both."
Tomy starts to cry, tries to speak but the words get stuck in his throat. It's just "I don't remember, I don't remember, I don't remember", which he clearly repeats over and over again.
"Didn't you smoke, just remember that," Tomy looked at me sarcastically. Tomy answered yes, I use it, and he lit a cigarette and stuck it between Tomy's lips.
He signaled his own age partner, who was waiting outside, to come here. His partner got in the car. "He won't be here, let's take him to the center," he said. His partner looked at Tomy in the rearview mirror and started the car saying, "This road is the beginning of the end for you, kid." He continued to drive.
Tomy couldn't help but watch as he passed the streets and avenues he passed every morning on his way to work. Each puff of the cigarette numbed his already lethargic mind even more. As the cigarette fades, the remaining ash falls into Tomy's lap, which Tomy doesn't even notice. With his arms back, he felt the pain of the handcuffs on his wrists even more. Hunger remained the same. He couldn't eat the omelet he had cooked. He didn't know if it was the omelet he left behind or if it was his whole life. Nothing was in Tomy's hands anymore.
To be continued.
