Nowadays, children rarely play games that involve physical games. I mean, children rarely hold toy cars and robots that can be held directly. They prefer to play with robots or cars on their cellphones. The recent crypto developments also make mobile games more interesting because you can get money and assets there. Just like in NFT, you can earn a certain amount of money in cryptocurrency. Then, the asset is yours. Even if you can't physically hold it. That's how it works.

But, you should never underestimate that physical toys can’t be invested. One of the well-known toy brands that are still considered to have a good investment value is LEGO. Have you played it? or you really don't like LEGO games? Oh, no problem. But, I'm going to reveal something that many people probably don't know much about.

There's a myth going around that LEGO is even more profitable than investing in gold or even stock. How big is the profit? from the results of research from an economist from Russia (Higher School of Economics), they tried to answer the challenge that investing in LEGO could benefit the owner of the toy by about 11% per year. It's a quirky and funny thing where people traditionally invest in well-known, high-carat branded items like gold and then those items are still eclipsed by a plastic toy like LEGO.

However, not all LEGO toys can be considered as investments. Only certain LEGOs can be used as profitable instruments. Herein lies the drawback, you must research the market before buying. Except, if you are a LEGO collector who really likes to collect any kind of LEGO. You can call this a limited edition of LEGO or rare LEGO.

In addition, investors must be careful and maintain the condition of their goods properly. LEGO’s that look poorly maintained such as parts that are slightly damaged or even missing, it greatly affects the selling price. There are also certain categories of LEGO sets that are considered to have a high investment value such as Millenium Falcom and Taj Mahal (I like the Taj Mahal because the real building is actually unique and classy). In other conditions to get a high selling price, an owner must wait at least 2-3 years. This means you have to see that the LEGO product is no longer for sale on the official website and people will find that what you have is a rare item. If you're interested, you can check out the official website and analyze rare LEGOs for investment.

What about me? I also like LEGO, but I don't feel like the right person to invest here. So, this is an alternative investment for those of you who are interested in trying out in the niche of children's toys.
