_"Tips to Cultivating a Life Time Habitual Reading,"_ to aid our reading momentum.

In the first part these were given;👇🏼

*¶. Set Times⏰*

*¶. Always Carry A Book📚*

*¶. Make a List (if possible)*

*¶. Find a Quiet Place.*

*¶. Reduce Television/Internet.*

I hope it was helpful...?

_Building reading culture is demanding, especially for those who are starters & those who may find it difficult to stay on books._

*But I bet it with you, it's possible & achievable. If only you are willing & committed.*

Kindly permit me to drop these few points to close the tips off the line.

*¶. Read before & to your child.*

_💁🏼‍♂️This goes to our Daddies n Mummies as well as the Potential Parents (including myself😌)._

*If we want our children to become friends with book, don't tell them to read, LET'S DO IT IN THEIR PRESENCE, it automatically transmits to them. Just TELLING them cannot do enough like DOING it while they WATCH us.*🤷🏼‍♂️

If you have children, you must, must read to them. Creating the reading habit in your kids is the best way to ensure they’ll be readers when they grow up, and it will help them to be successful in life as well.

Find some great children’s books, and read to them. *At the same time, you’re developing the reading habit in yourself … and spending some quality time with your child as well.*

*¶. Keep a Log.*

Similar to the reading list, this log should have not only the _title & author_ of the books you read, but the _dates_ you started and finish them if possible.

Even better, put a note next to each with your _thoughts_ about the book. *It is extremely satisfying to go back over the log after a couple of months to see all the great books you’ve read.*

(Friends who pick books from my library can testify to this, they even ask me at times that, who is the real author of this book, because my handwriting would have covered the pages)😇

*¶. Have a Personal Library Day.*

🤔What's this about? It means make a *PERIODIC VISIT* to stores to get at least a book to build up a personal library for yourself.

Even cheaper than a used book-shop is a library, of course. There are shops selling used books, it's still of great help to readers. Make it a weekly trip or a monthly. Checkout for them in your domain.

Out of your income, if you commit a little token to a book every two weeks or monthly, you would have bought at least 12books in a year.🤷🏼‍♂️

_*💁🏼‍♂️Do you actually know that; If you build a library, you build lives, you build generations*_

*¶. Make it Pleasurable.*

Make your reading time your *_favorite time_* of day. Have some good tea or coffee while you read, or another kind of treat (you know what best suits you😉). Get into a comfortable chair with a good blanket. Read during sunrise or sunset, or at the beach. Anyway it makes you feel cool.

_I like to make myself comfortable as I build up myself.._😇

*Lastly!*

*¶. Blog it.*

One of the best ways to help a habit is not to hide it, let people know you with it. Your page is good for such. If you have not been doing it, start it _(WhatsApp, FB & read.cash are good for such)._

*It’s free! Since it's your page.*

Have your family go there & give you book suggestions & comment on the ones you’re reading. _It keeps you accountable for your goals._

*Even, days when you don't post, people who follow your postings will push you to do so, because they feed from your page. And when you starve them, they push it out of you by placing demands.*

*¶.S et a High Goal.*

Tell yourself that you want to read *_50 books_* a year (or some other number like that). Then set about trying to accomplish it. Just be sure you’re still enjoying the reading though by picking appropriate books; _don’t make it a rushed chore. You have to be calming down with it you know.☺️_

*¶. Have a Reading Schedule.*

If you turn off the TV or Internet in the evening, you could have a set hour (perhaps just after dinner) when you & maybe all the members of your family read each night. Or you could do a reading day, when you (and again, your other family members if you can get them to join you) read for practically the whole day.

_It’s super fun, you know how it rolls on this platform now😉. And you can do it yourself, just ensure you have a set time to read comfortable for you._

*Books have been age long liberation factor, if we will not be bypassed in our own days, books must become the habitual language we speak. For treasures are hidden therein.👌🏼*

_If you find these tips helpful, kindly place your comment. And ensure to try them out per time. I'm sure it's gonna yield an awesome results._
