Yes, I did it! After more than a month of break, I finally wrote another article:

Let’s hope the drive to write will stay for longer this time… Have a look at my allotment progress guys if you have 6 spare minutes 😉
The past few days I’ve been saying to my friend that I need some excitement in my life. I really do. I love the new found peace, but I also love things happening in my life that excite me.
So today I got excited about writing again. I had a chat with an online friend and heard some news and out of nowhere I drafted 2 articles, then started researching some new projects until I realised I was out of time and rushed to my yoga class.
My only hope is that this excitement will continue and I will get to actually finish and publish those 2 and many more articles.
After yoga my friend asked me if I wanted to sit in the nearby park for a while and so we sat there for over an hour chatting, making plans and watching the sky go darker and first stars starting to shine. What a lovely way to finish an exciting day. Now I’m all out of juice, so I’m heading to bed early.
Goodnight noisy friends 💙
Oh how I miss those beauties! Petunia Midnight Sky that I was growing last year. I collected some seeds, but I was not in a growing mood at the beginning of this season and I also didn’t buy any new annuals this year. Luckily I have plenty of captures of them from last year 💙
Most berries are done for this year on my allotment, but still plenty of blackberries to sweeten my days during my walks in the neighbourhood.
I’m back to work today, even though I still test positive. According to NHS website most people are no longer infectious after 5 days. Let’s hope I’m in this category, but just in case I still avoid contact with coworkers when necessary.
Now that I’m full of fresh antibodies, I ventured into the forest again. There are no mushrooms at all. A few days of rain we had this week was clearly not enough for them to appear after long weeks of no rain at all.
To be honest, I was so busy stuffing my mouth with blackberries and daydreaming that I forgot to take any pictures!
Here is the weird tree I captured what I was in London couple of weeks ago. Anyone knows what is the name of this tree?
Surprise 1 - I tested positive for covid this morning, so I was sent back home. I would lie if I said I can concentrate on work from home. All I wanna do is sleep 😴
Surprise 2 - my Phalaenopsis Liodoro just opened its first flower this year. The scent is as beautiful as I remember it 😍
The other day on the beach. It was such a peaceful day and evening 😍
A few more captures from my London walk the other week.
We have another super hot week here again. Thursday to Friday it is meant to be 33 degrees and on top of it we have a hosepipe ban 🙈 Just when I run out of all my rain water from the water butt and bottles.
Oh well, at least I booked Thursday off work and planning to go to the beach for the whole day.
How are you noisy people? Is it hot where you live?
Walking through the forest to my allotment yesterday, I saw this huge mushroom growing in the tree. No idea what it is, but it looked fascinating 🧐
In reality the orange colour of it was so much brighter, but as it was dusk already, the brightness didn’t show well on the pictures. My hand on the other hand (pun not intended!) turned out rather blue 😅💙
Look what I found in my photo album! Last week I was sitting at my allotment after I watered all my plants and harvested some fruit and veg. I was stuffing my face with delicious white currants when I saw beautiful orange clouds and decided to snap a ‘white currants sunset’ picture.
Came out pretty nice 😁
Not often that I see sunset and sunrise within a few hours. Usually I sleep through the sunrise, but this morning I was up before the sun, because of the stomach ache and someone having a bad dream in a nearby tent 😉
The other day I was taking a stroll around the neighbourhood on my way back from the allotment. First, I’ve met this beautiful white catto, which I didn’t capture, cause I was too busy petting it. Once I finished with the cat, this cutie walked right to the middle of the pavement. As you could imagine, I wasn’t going to stroke this guy, but I did take a few pictures and thanked him for the photo session 😉
Well, well, well… guess what I found in my compost bag? A ready to plant avocado tree!
What a beautiful gift from nature! For years I was planning to save an avocado seed and make it grow with some complicated methods I read about and this week I just found it grew all by itself.
I doubt I can grow it into a big tree in our climate, but I can enjoy a little tree if I take it indoors in the winter time I guess ☺️
Today I’m a tourist for a day. Driving to London has became stupidly expensive these days with all the extra charges, so this week I decided to get myself a rail card and come here by the train. It’s also the first time I do this all by myself!
Somehow I managed to get here safely in one piece without any hiccups. Instead of taking the tube to the venue I chose to have a half an hour stroll.
Advantage? I enjoyed a lovely weather and took many pictures.
Disadvantage? I’m all sweaty before I even arrived here 😅
Anyone can guess why I’m here? The clue is in the pictures!
A cute bumblebee visited my borage flowers the other day. I purchased a pack of borage seeds when I first moved into this house in 2014, because I saw on the package that pollinators love it. The plants themselves never did very well in my garden - all parts of them are edible, but the leaves always turn brown and look like they’re struggling with some kind of disease, so I never tried eating them.
They grow abundantly in my garden nevertheless. In the past 7 years I never planted a single seed, but they love to self-seed and come back in random places of my garden. This year they decided to show up next to the bench I usually sit on. Although they don’t look pretty with those brown leaves, I let them grow for the sake of the bees. They repay me by posing for pretty pictures like these 💙
My round courgettes are doing really well again this year. I have a yellow variety as well as green now. I’m also testing how preparation of soil before planting affects how they grow and the conclusion is - those with properly prepared soil grow bigger leaves while those surrounded by weeds grow bigger fruit 😅 Not sure it I’ll bother weeding next time!
I really, really should go to my allotment to water my plants, but I’m so so sleepy, I can barely keep my eyes open.
I hope my plants will forgive me 🙈 My future self will be happy though… my tomorrow morning self that is 😅 Maybe she won’t even hit that snooze button when the alarm goes off!
Back to my plants though… I’m pretty please witch what I have growing, despite how late in the season I took the new plot on. I have tomatoes, beets, shallots, sweede, potatoes, strawberries and peas. Since the second half of the plot hasn’t got the owner yet, I also help myself to the raspberries, black and white currants and gooseberries 😍
Well, the weather has been fantastic this weekend. Apparently we have 2 weeks of that heat. On Saturday my friend and I went to do some outdoor salsa dancing. Planned to be there for an hour max, but we enjoyed the fair and decided to stay for a few hours, enjoying some non salsa entertainment, then head off for a dinner to local pub.
And yes, I managed to do some gardening on Friday and Sunday too! Now my back is a little burned from my bikini gardening 😅 All in all, a great weekend!
Hope yours was good too!
Hey, hello noisy Gaia Lovers!
2 weeks have past since I last visited noise.cash! New work and outside of work activities have been keeping me away from social media successfully. I’m behind also on all garden activities.
My front bush really needs a good trim, as I can barely park in my drive now, so that’s one of my weekend tasks this week, as well as mowing my back garden lawn. Lots to do, but weather is glorious, so hopefully I’ll manage to do all that I planned. 3 days long weekend also helps 😉
How are you all?
After a lovely walk in the forest with my friend and her son, picking up a few wild blueberries and encountering a huge ants house it’s time to chill in her garden with coffee. Her place is a true nature reservoir. Just the sounds of a nearby motorway are breaking the peace a little. At times I can just zone out and not hear it at all though. Zoning out is my favourite activity these days ;)
New path has just opened up. After long weeks spent in indecision, I finally made up my mind about the new job and today was my first day there. First and last this week, so that was an easy start.
First impression? What have a gotten myself into I ask? Nobody really knows what my job will be and it seems to me that I will have to decide for myself what it will be. I’m happy that it will be 4 days a week instead of 5 though.
How are you noisy people?
Oh wow! How did the 2 weeks go so fast without me posting here at all?
I guess I needed a longer time off from the online world than usual. No articles, no pictures, not much interaction either.
I’d like to say it was a productive time, but that’s not true. Hopefully with the start of a new job a get in a better routine with my posting too.
A few nature captures from my long forgotten birthday lunch and walk with my friend 💙
My friend got herself a new dog. This tiny little cutie is named Morena. She is a very scared little thing, clearly been mistreated in her previous house.
Slowly she’s getting used to me, but it will be a while before she’ll be jumping from happiness when she sees me, like my other friends dogs.
Staying at home makes me think too much, so I try to walk every day. I don’t really wanna walk either, but apparently exercise makes us feel better... It doesn’t, but what else can I do? So I walk and I take pictures while I walk. Not because it makes me happy, rather out of habit.
Still… they came out beautifully 💙
Seriously… I don’t even know how I survived these past 2 days. Feels like my world is falling apart day after day. There was one thing I really looked forward to for the past month. A little moment of happiness when a very close person was going to come here and spend my birthday week with me. 2 days spent on the airport and still didn’t managed to get on the plane and came here. I’ve run out of tears to cry.
The only thing I could do to stop thinking for a brief moment was work on my allotment and write about it:
https://read.cash/@fantagira/allotment-no-22-or-is-it-20-1dda1c5e
Universe 1 - Me 0
I have a little happy surprise to write about! I think I will leave it for the article though or else it will be too long for a noise post.
For now enjoy this beautiful foxglove I captured today. Now I’m off to dance 💃
After long weeks of not visiting my allotment, I decided to come here today. Looking at these little part that I managed to dig up in April feels like I barely made a dent! Plus the grass on the remaining part has grown so tall, I don’t even where to start now.
So all I did was remove the weeds on the little patch that I managed to dig up and I went to my old plot to pick up the radishes I planted there.
Conclusion - without daily effort and consistency not much can be achieved. I’ve got some work to do instead of soaking every day 🙈
Well, by now I swear I have a masters degree in procrastination. They say procrastination is a form of self sabotage. I couldn’t agree more… It’s like a part of me doesn’t want me to succeed. Like it is easier to stay in complicated situations, full of anxiety rather than doing something that needs to be done and feel better for it.
So while procrastinating to avoid things I needed to do today, I wrote an article about it:
https://read.cash/@fantagira/procrastination-distractions-and-ernesto-0b324849
Completing this little task gave me a sense of achievement, which in turn pushed me to do the other things I wanted to do. Not bad 😉
Yesterday it was very stormy here. The sky was flashing and I looked outside thinking maybe it is the emergency car - police or ambulance, but there were none in sight and the sky continues to flash.
After a few of these I finally heard a thunder and realised it was a thunderstorm that was flashing the sky.
Now, I rarely got to fb, but I did scroll a little this morning and I came across this amazing picture by a photographer friend. How amazing is this? 🤩

Pansies and violas are some of my favourite flowers. They come in a huge variety of colour combinations and are so easy to care for. Plus they love to self seed in weird places. I often remove baby plants from between the slabs in my back garden. Always baffles me why wouldn’t they just grow next to their parents? No, they just need to be a little awkward. Just like me ;) I guess that’s why I like them.
Today I finally took out the mower and mowed the lawns in my back garden. A little bit of bare foot walking sure made me feel better. Now it’s salsa time. Waiting for my friend to finish getting ready and off we go for a night of dancing 💃
