The human brain is the only organ that thinks about all the functions of the body, yet it is the one we think the least about. Our brain is an essential organ of our body,which controls everything that we do,from breathing,eating, walking, sleeping,etc.
This is the list of the habits that damage our brain.
Smoking-All of us know that cigarettes smoking causes cancer,but did you know that nicotine cause the brain to shrink? but not only to shrink but it also leads to Alzheimer's disease
Speaking Less-Introverts person are those who tend to speak less due to their shyness or just because they don't want to speak,face a higher risk of reducing the efficiency of their brains.Conversation that is intellectual are actually exercise of the brain like the gym for muscle.
Skipping breakfast-A lot us skip breakfast for the sake of diet or saving time, and this damage our brain.When we sleep our brain still requires nutrients ,It consumes the stored nutrients of our body, and when we wake up in the morning,we need to have break fast to fill the space of consumed nutrients,not eating break fast leads to low blood sugar levels which is bad for our health.
Over eating-Whether one is the feeling very hungry or enjoying there dish to much.Over eating is terrible ides it causes the brain arteries harden,which leads to decreased mental capabilities.
Sugar-Consuming too much sugar interrupts the absorption of protein and nutrients which can lead to malnutrition,when a person suffers malnutrition,brain development is affected, so its advice to reduce sugar drinks.
Air pollution-Air pollution is not a habit,but breathing in polluted areas actually leads to lower amounts of oxygen reaching your brain,and without oxygen,our brains cannot function properly.
Covering head-A lot of us have a habit of sleeping with our heads covered.It leads to increase intake of carbon- dioxide lesser intake of oxygen which damage our brain cell s .
Brain exercise-Our brain is like a muscle if we don't give it exercise,it will shrink not engaging in stimulating thoughts can causes damage to our brain.So watch documentary or play puzzles games or read a book to keep your thinking intact.
Work in Sickness-Many of the students and workers tend to work and study even during sickness.When your body is sick your mind and body both need to rest.By working in sickness you are causing long term damage to the brain cells.
Less Sleep-Sleep is the most important part of our physical and mental health. A good night sleep of at least of 8 hours is vital for our brain as well as in internal organs, a recent study found that sleep helps in cleaning the brain toxins only during the deep sleep cycle.
Engaging in the above mention habits can decrease your brain health which can lead to death of brain cells and cause irreparable damage to our brain.
