Pudding is one of my favorite desserts that's why I asked my friend to teach me how to prepare this recipe, the combination of coffee and caramel is extremely delicious for dessert.
Ingredients
4 cups of evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp of coffee powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
In a saucepan combine the evaporated milk, sugar, cornstarch and coffee mix it well
Cook over low, medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the mixture becomes thick
Stir the mixture continuously to avoid lumps add the vanilla extract mix well and remove from the heat.
Pour mixture in a preferred glass container set aside
For the caramel
1/2 cup water
1tbp cornstarch
mix the water and cornstarch then set aside
1/2 cup white sugar put in pan let it caramelized add 3 tbsp hot water stir until well combined add the water and cornstarch mixture mix and simmer for two minutes over low heat then remove from the heat.
Pour on the top of the caramel pudding spread evenly.
chill for 2 or 3 hours
