F.I.R.E. Movement - Things You Need to Know

3 37

There is a lot of talk going on around with the FIRE movement. A lot of people who are stressed in 30s are planning for something like that. A lot of people can't take the retirement early, some don't want to retire and so on.

So what this FIRE movement is about? How does this work? And what are some of the things that you can do with the FIRE movement. I am going to explain my point of view on this FIRE movement in near future.

Dave Ramsey has written some of the excellent article. However his focus is often to teach and let people find out. My approach is different. I explain my context and then let things build for users context.

When you take care of the basics in the personal finance, you start to build for something strong and then life starts to take shape with the confidence. So that is the point we are all trying to build things.

I hope you find this article useful to understand this FIRE movement concept and also make use of it in your own life. I hope that helps you out and makes things easier for you with your own personal finance understanding.

What is Financial Independence, Retire, Early (FIRE)?

As you can read the definition of the FIRE in the question itself. You would find the this movement has some value. You choose to retire early but continue to have some value in your actions and what you choose to do.

Some of the time having such type of the focus is what is going to build you long term. Some of the times the FIRE movement may make you sad because it makes you get out of the workforce.

But you have to understand the fact that workforce is only good if you can be stress free. You can continue to be creative and make money and also have control over your finances. So that's the goal here with the FIRE movement.

Invest into Retirement Funds

Goal is to retire early in context of stress. You can retire in 30s or 40s if your savings and the earnings are good. Some of the time being retired on the time is what helps you. I learned this pretty late.

I think having nice retirement funds in hand would help everyone. I think it'd be reasonable to understand that when you hold some retirement funds you kind of develop your grit for the future.

Now once you build a nest egg for the retirement you also build on the things that could help you with the funds in the long time. I feel like funds of those types eventually help out with the retirement.

Invest into Growth Based Assets

There are some assets which grow over time. Say things like stocks, mutual funds and crypto. You may find some months or times when the investment may go negative or down but that also rise up and balances everything.

So the growth based assets can be pretty much effective on how the assets are developed over the years. So investing in 20s would give you good sum of money i the 40s. And things would continue to increase over the years.

You may find that investing into the right asset and letting it develop is the way we can build lot better life if we choose to do things the better way. I realize that growth happens that way.

Don't retire before 65, in a Physical Sense

If you retire early like in 30s or 40s and do no work. You are going to rot away and then that would make you lose your life towards the disorders and the diseases. That is what going to affect you in terms of the health.

I also learned about how the value of the movement and a bit of stress would be good. Our mind if takes less stress it would only going to age faster. So having something to work on is a good thing.

You have to learn about how the stress helps needs to be considered here. Though everything needs to be in healthy boundary, you would do pretty good with the way things work around with the life.

Retire from Mentally Stressed Activities

I talked about how stress could be bad for you. You can definitely retire from that. Avoid those mentally taxing desk jobs, reception jobs, hotel jobs. Instead you can do something relaxing. Like being a librarian and other small jobs.

By doing that you are not going to be taxing your mind and heart into things that are going to make it difficult for your life in general. So your approach to retiring early is something you build upon for small activities.

Think of doing things as an activities and small achievement. That is what is going to make life lot easier for you in general. I learned about doing this from those who are into the FIRE movement. I hope this would help you get a perspective.

It's not easy to get the early retirement. FIRE movement is good but not something we all have to be chasing. That's something you need to balance out with goals and the life in general instead of letting some movement of mind and body retire.

Do let me know what you think about retiring early.

I want to retire early but I do know that I will decrease my life and fall into diseases if I do that. Still in confusion on this topic. Have to create another working plan with less stress and work after retirement.

Retiring early is a good financial plan but doing nothing will lead people to finding purpose that would make them feel fulfill again.

I remember a chinese businessman who retired around 35, but after partying with his friends and doing nothing, his own body was asking for a meaningful work again.

FIRE is a beautiful goal.
