Each day we hear news of someone losing money in the metamask. Some losing their bank money and so on. Digital has made things easier but there are lot of frauds.
Digital payments are fast and partially safe but as long as you do things right it wont be much of an issue for the people who choose to store the funds. Now let's talk about protection.
Digital payment frauds are increasing and as more greed comes into the world there would be more of such issues. So let's talk about it.
Don't click on Unknown Links
Often you get the message where they want you to click on something and go to the new page. And thats where they want you to fill out passwords or keys etc. And following that would get your funds nil.
So make sure to avoid doing that. Don't click on unknown link. It won't do you any good instead it would only make it problematic if they happen to put some sort of the logger in your phone.
Don't give your keys/pass to Unknown Forms/Sites
A lot of frauds want your password, keys and they do that by asking it through some form of site or the portals. And they collect it through such means. Make it difficult for you to change that later.
So when you get some of such options make sure to ignore the forms, links that are asking you for the password and the losing access to goodies of your wallet. So make sure to ignore some of such options.
If it's free money, its fraud *most* of the times
Most of the scams and the frauds work the way as if it is going to give you some form of the leverage with free things. Like you earn thousands of the toeksn if you happen to click on links etc.
If you think someone wants to give you free money for no reason. Ask yourselves what could be the motive. And that would fix most of your greed and the desperation with the same in life.

It is difficult now a days to keep ourselves more safe due to scams and frauds. The precautions you mentioned are valued and adoptable. Keep the work in one reliable gateway because more searching of opportunities, greediness and hunting put in unknown phobia of accomulate more.
