BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF
BR BLK has been added to the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation eligibility file
(DTCC) in August, a spokesperson for the global securities settlement firm said in a statement.
“It is standard practice for DTCC to add securities to the NSCC Securities Eligibility Repository in preparation for the launch of a new ETF into the market,” the spokesperson said.
"Appearance on the list is not indicative of the outcome of any approval processes
regulatory or other types still in progress"
