It's midnight again, and here I am wide awake and I know I can't sleep unless I'll jot down these thoughts that keep on lingering in my head.
People need people, that's the way of life here on Earth. We are born from this world without any idea in which family we will be included, in which communities shall be in. Yet, as we grow old and turned mature we can freely choose people whom we like to be with, voluntarily. You may want to be friends with people around you, you may want to help people who are needy of your support. However, in reality, as life teaches you lessons from your choices, you'll see and recognize completely that not everyone deserves you.
Later on in life, you might encounter some people who are deceiving. Making use of your kindness and generosity. You may saw a lot of good people around who deserve your compassion, nevertheless, some people don't just deserve it. People who are using your pure intentions for their advantages. People will do everything to survive. People will do the same just to chase money. Even you're merciful enough to understand, you just don't deserve their desperate moves and greediness.
I'm a member of some groups on Facebook and I've encountered a lot of instances where some people are just using or making stories just to beg for financial help. And those who are soft-hearted enough, won't hesitate to extend their support. However, just like the old saying goes, you can't hide the truth, the truth will always prevail. For goodness, they've found out that everything was just a drama play. They just invent stories to make people fall into their traps. The good thing is the members of the group became learned from the experience and became vigilant every time they'll meet such acts again.
Also, not everyone deserves your friendship, people are creatures hiding in masks, and once unwrapped only a few are true gems. It's manageable to choose your buddies but as time goes by, you'll, later on, found out who's real and who's not. That some of them are just there when they need you, but their presence is missing if you're the one's needing them. Well, that's life, you can't control how they will use their mentalities. Their actions and thoughts are out of your control. But if you come to think of it, you need people like them. To teach you that your friendship is not for everyone to be cherished. It does not matter if how many friends you have, what matters most is the few real ones.
When it comes to love, it's also clear that not everyone deserves it from you. They say love will make you happy and pleased, however, if you fell into the wrong person, you're a mess. Sometimes, in denial, the problem is no other than but you, when it's crystal clear that you're in a toxic relationship with the wrong person, you still hold to that tiny hope within your heart that everything will fall into place. That maybe he/she will change, and you're willing to wait even it's impossible. You don't deserve that, they don't deserve your heart. Learn to love yourself and give yourself a worth. Practice self-love and you'll see how foolish you are by sticking with the wrong one.
Not everyone deserves you and your time. You don't need to explain everything to someone who's questioning your worth. You know yourself better, you don't need them just to be good. You may fail and choose the wrong person frequently, that's fine. You are just giving yourself a lesson worth holding up as time passes by.
Not everyone deserves your best, learn to stay away from people who weaken you as a person. You don't deserve them. Just like in cooking some foods don't need peppers, some do. You need to choose the right ingredients to fulfill the taste and the recipe that you want. Just like in life, you just need the right people to be within your life to be happy. You don't need people who don't give importance to you. Not everyone deserves your smile because the one who needs it the most is you.
See your worth, be strong enough to take care of your body, your heart, and your mind. That's the best thing you can do for now for yourself. Just be you, and you'll see the right people will come along into your life. You'll see the right ones who deserve you as a whole, without judging you or criticizing you, doubting your capabilities as a person but sees every tiny bit of goodness in you. Life here on Earth is like a guessing game, you'll meet someone or encounter them on your way, you don't have any ideas on what they'll leave behind in your life if it would be lessons or gifts of love, or companionship worth cherishing.
Pull your chin up and face the world with confidence. Offer your compassion and love to people who deserve you. You don't have to hide in that mask anymore just to pleased everyone. Not anymore.
