Stealing some time to say 'hello' to my Noise-fam. The start of the month is the busiest time for me as I have three reports to settle for clients. It's 6pm now and I have only completed one. SIGH!!!
Hello, hello, hello. I'm back. Today is a busy day for me as I still have that two reports to settle for my client. However, I managed to get my 4th article published on read.cash. You wouldn't believe me if I told you that I composed it whilst I was brisk walking this morning, clocking my daily 15,000 steps! Hohoho..... talk about multi-tasking! Here it is! https://read.cash/@emily2u/introducing-ipoh-my-home-city-68954536
Just about to wrap up my report but I can't yet as I need to ask my co-worker how some of the data is tabulated. Why people make things so complicated, I don't understand. Waste my time researching. Suffering from a stiff back today since I woke up in the morning. Possibly from sleeping in the wrong position or perhaps just old age... and to have to sit at my desk for so many hours to work, I simply can't concentrate on anything. Pray I am healed by tomorrow morning. I stillโฆ

๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐ Was going through my Vietnam travel photo albums (Sept 2019) and this one stood out. My experience in the Vietnamese tub boat, with the resort staff. Scary, because we had trouble balancing it, as I can't swim. #Travel
๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ From living out of a suitcase to not going anywhere, I have been working nonstop every day, and on most days, pulling late nights, basically because there is nothing much else to do when at home and with the piling work, I might as well settle them. Wondering when I can retire....? #RandomThoughts
It's a brand new day but it's the same ol' back pain for the third consecutive day. Just hope it's nothing serious. Every time I experience pain, I am reminded of how our wellbeing is always taken for granted.

Planning to purchase an oximetre this 6.6 for my dad. He saw an ad and now he wants one, but I can bet he won't know how to use it and will keep asking me how to operate it, as though I know! Anyone has any experience or recommendation? Which brand is good? #RandomThoughts
Ohhh I hate this with a vengeance! It's wasting my time! Wonder which smart alec set these up! Duh!
A thought just came to my mind after suffering from back ache for 3 days. It could be linked to my toothache. Googled the relation between toothache and back pain, and yes, it could be the cause. Urgh! #RandomThoughts

Yahoo! Am done with work for today, because we can always leave some for tomorrow and the day after. Yup, it's another 3-day weekend here in Malaysia! And now, it's time for some fun! Here are alpacas Chocolate (L) and Milky (R) from the KL Tower Mini Zoo saying "Hello" also.
Checking out both Lazada and Shopee for the oximeter of my choice but hey, my vouchers cannot be used, free shipping voucher also cannot be applied... I thought it's the 6.6 sale but I'm only getting 10% off the price PLUS partial coin redemption on Shopee. That's all! Not much of a saving! Huhuhu #RandomThoughts
Oximeter purchased for my dad just because he asked for it. No free shipping or store voucher but item is going at a 10% discount and I managed to claim a free coins voucher for purchase above RM40, and paid using ShopeePay.
Article #8, another 1000-word exclusive piece for read.cash that I wrote while brisk walking 15K steps this morning. Multi-tasking is every woman's superpower. Today, 6th June, is 2 years since I left my heart in Nepal. I took this shot as I left Samagaun in Nubri Valley in a helicopter, leaving behind the villagers that I have grown to love over the week that I stayed there. I hope to see you all again one day!
It's a three-day weekend here in Malaysia, because of HRH King's official birthday on Monday. I just about managed to spread my spillover work from last week to settle over these three days, without the disturbance from clients and bosses. This means that I can call it an early night tonight. Now... if only every work week was just 3 or 4 days. That would be awesome. Who's with me? #RandomThoughts

I just woke up from my long afternoon nap. Again, that client who buzzed me during the previous public holiday has done it again today, even though he KNOWS that it's a public holiday today. Why is it so difficult to respect other people's personal time?
So many long weekends already but kept being stuck at home working only... What a life.... so different from pre-pandemic days! I don't remember what is "normal" anymore.
I'm having trouble keeping tabs on postings by people I'm subscribed to, without turning on the notification bell, because my feed is flooded with posts by fellow Channel members.... whose postings I don't really care for. ๐๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ช๐ฎ๐ is a Chinese Muslim mosque in Ipoh, Malaysia. It's a tourist destination not only among those of Muslim faith, but also among those who are interested in the interesting architecture of this mosque. Opened in 2013, after almost 2 years of construction at a cost of MYR4 million (approx. USD1 million), the mosque features 100% Chinese architectural design, with its roof imported from China.

I filed my Year 2020 income tax returns last week. Today, I wrote to the tax department that I will stop my CP500 for Year 2021 with immediate effect as I had overpaid RM2000 for 2020 and for CP2021, I already paid two instalments and the total already exceeded my 2020 tax amount. Still busy with work stuff but my mind has wandered to the time I was at Redang Island. I enjoy time at the beach, as long as I'm under the shade and not forced into the water. Redang is a popular snorkeling destination but not once have I tried snorkeling despite multiple trips there.
I'm done with work for the day. The rest can wait for tomorrow. Almost can't open my eyes already. Even trance music isn't helping much to keep me awake.

This rambling colonial building is now known as Rumah Rehat Sri Berkat. Located on Fraserโs Hill (Selangor, Malaysia) at 1025 metres above sea level, the lowest recorded temperature was only 7 degrees Celsius! Built in 1926 from funds provided by the British Red Cross Society and the Order of St. John of Jerusalem in England for the benefit of ex-members of the Imperial Forces (1914-1918) and their dependents, the property was later presented as a gift to Malaya. ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ Buddhist cave temple is a major tourist attraction in the city of Ipoh, Malaysia. Meaning "Cave of great happiness" in Chinese, this limestone cave complex offers amazing natural structures of stalactites and stalagmites. Can you see ๐ด๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐? This was the view that greeted me every evening when I arrived back to my accommodation for a week, after a full day of mountain trekking. The village of Samagaun where I set up base when I was in Nepal in 2019, and located along the Manaslu Circuit Trek, did not have electricity supply, hence it was pitch black. Samagaun is currently in the process of setting up a mini hydroelectricity plant to light up the village.
This is ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐, also known as Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque. This mosque was initially a small mosque to cater to the Muslim community in the area, but as Tanjung Bungah became more populous, the mosque had to be expanded, from its capacity of 500 worshippers. Due to limited land, it was then proposed that the mosque be built out to the sea, supported by stilts. During high tide, the mosque appears to be floating on water. They won't teach me about camera settings, though, and I am always told to "RTM" or "Read the Manual".. which I am lazy to do, so it's always Auto or Intelligent Auto mode for me.
