This rambling colonial building is now known as Rumah Rehat Sri Berkat. Located on Fraser’s Hill (Selangor, Malaysia) at 1025 metres above sea level, the lowest recorded temperature was only 7 degrees Celsius! Built in 1926 from funds provided by the British Red Cross Society and the Order of St. John of Jerusalem in England for the benefit of ex-members of the Imperial Forces (1914-1918) and their dependents, the property was later presented as a gift to Malaya. This building features architecture from the Victorian-English era, making it a popular movie filming location.
