Tagaytay escapades

Hindi inaasahang napadpad kami sa Maynila noong December 6, 2019. Ito ay sa kadahilanang ang Bicol region ay sinalanta ng bagyo at nawalan ng internet connection ang opisina namin.

Dahil dito, napag-desisyunan ng mga leaders naman na tumungo kami ng Eastwood at doon magreport. Bumyahe kami papuntang Manila galing Bicol ng Byernes ng hapon. Nakarating kami ng Sabadong umaga. Napagkasunduan naming magkakaibigan na pumunta sa Tagaytay.

Nakapunta na ang isa sa mga kaibigan ko sa Tagaytay kaya nagpasama kami sa kanya. Galing Eastwood ay sumakay kami ng jeep papuntang Cubao. Meron naman daw FX pero that time hindi sya available. Mula Cubao naman ay sumakay kami ng bus papuntang Pasay. Pagkarating namin ng Pasay ay sumakay kami ng bus papuntang Batangas na dadaan ng Tagaytay.

Nagpababa kami malapit sa may Lomihan. Lunchtime na rin kaya kumain na muna kami. First time namin makatikim ng Lomi batangas kaya nag.order na kami. Matapos namin kumain ng Lomi, naisipan namin magkape.

Nakwento ng isa naming katrabaho na sa Tagaytay ang isa sa may malaking Starbucks sa Pilipinas. Ayaw namin palampasin ang pagkakataong ito kaya nagtungo na kami sa Starbucks.

This Starbucks cafe in Tagaytay is overlooking to the Taal Volcano too.

Napakaganda ng lugar na ito. Malinis at sariwa ang simoy ng hangin. Matatanaw mo sa malayo ang Taal Volcano.

After dito ay nilakad namin paakyat ang SkyRanch Tagaytay. Nakakapagod maglakad pero mapresko compared sa naglalakad ka sa Manila.

It's nice to go to places with friends. They are my officemates too.
The ferris wheel here is the highest attraction here.

We surely had so much fun in here for a short period of time. When you visit Tagaytay, Sky Ranch is worth a try. You can try the rides or you can just roam, buy souvenirs and have fun.

Ahh it is pretty there, there's also a lot of overlooking restaurants to eat at there! And besides sky ranch, did you ever get to visit people's park? Oh and it's close to batangas too, you could've gone to see caraluega

I've been to people's park in the sky and picnic grove. It is out of the way though and it's already dark so we need to go back to Manila that day. Maybe next time after this pandemic. Hehehe

Next time you should definitely try some places in batangas! It's a few minutes drive longer than tagaytay but i swear, it'll take you a week to go through all the nice beaches there. We have a house in tagaytay so i have frequent adventures there

Really? Tagaytay and batangas and cavite and laguna has gone through a lot of challenges. After the taal then the covid. I remembered it was January 12 that the taal erupted ashes that resulted to ash clouds. I was in manila January 11 to watch a conference and came back to Bicol January12 around noon. Then I heard in the news about what happened. I was thankful though cause I wasn't stranded in Manila. I hope your house and your family were all okay.

We were also in the house in manila during the ashfall. When we checked on the house in cav then the house in tagaytay, all the windows were black. And it was so hard to breath then, even inside the house there was ash. We only managed to dust up a bit then decided to come back when the ashfall wasn't that heavy anymore but then the ecq happened so now we're all just stuck here in manila. I hope you and your family is fairing well during this ecq

Maganda po talaga jan. Lalo na pag kasama mga kaibigan. Pumunta na rin kami jan saka sa peoples park in the sky. Tanaw na tanaw magagandang view. Pang tanggal stress at nakakarelax

Ah. Opo. Napuntahan ko narin yung People park in the sky. Kumain pa nga kami dun ng napakasarap na bulalo. Yung view sa park maganda. Pero yung park itself medyo kulang sa maintenance. Pero okay lang kasi affordable naman yung entrance fee. 😊
