6:40 AM
I am used in waking up early in the morning because I have work every weekdays at 7 o'clock in the morning. I set my alarm at 6:00 AM. Today is quite different because it's a Sunday and I didn't have my alarms on on weekends because it is my off. As much as possible, I wan't to have enough sleep and rest on my rest day.
I woke up though at 4:27 AM and I do not know why but normally I should get back to sleep but I can't this time. So, I just browsed my Facebook and watch some video clips. There's a clip that got me interested in searching something on Youtube. Then, while browsing on Youtube to play some songs, I saw a live video of Hillsong worships Sunday service and watched it. I was blessed.
After that, I watched the music video below and closed my eyes and feel every word of the lyrics.
Here is what God is telling me about the song.
On the first stanza, I was so amazed with God's power. He is there ever since the beginning. Actually, even before the beginning of time. He has no point of reference. His power unimaginable. Out of the darkness, He just spoke a Word and then there was light.
Then the first chorus, it signifies how these wonderful creations, the sky, the moon, all the planets there is, every star and sun will sings praises (even they do not have lips to sing ) because of God's great work.
Second stanza shows how God's Word works. Once He speak, it is full of meaning and true.
Second chorus talks about obedience in God's word but for me it also indicates that these creations that was not given lips to praise or body to walk obeys Him, then so must we.
Refrain. The refrain shows God's great work. Can you imagine a star that was made to worship, a mountain that bows, an ocean that roars and a rock that cries out in silence because they cannot contain God's amazing work? What more can we do but sing praises to God and even all of our praises combined won't be enough then we will do it again and again for a HUNDRED BILLION TIMES!
The 3rd stanza shows even how we fail, He still wanted us. He wants you. He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins. He is the God of salvation.
The last chorus. This is the one that I love and affected me the most. For me, it shows God's greatest love for us by sending His son Jesus and offer His amazing grace upon us that even when we fail and we do fail for a hundred time but even if we commit a hundred billion failures, with God's grace it will disappear. Jesus gave His life so that we must live. It shows how He chose surrender for us and so must we.
Every one of us is precious and Jesus would do everything again if He has to do it for a hundred billion times just for us. Because He loves You and I. He love us. And a hundred billion times cannot measure how great His love is for us. He will never leave us behind.
So Will I (100 billion X)
By Hillsong worship
God of creation
There at the start
Before the beginning of time
With no point of reference
You spoke to the dark
And fleshed out the wonder of light
And as You speak
A hundred billion galaxies are born
In the vapor of Your breath the planets form
If the stars were made to worship so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You've made
Every burning star
A signal fire of grace
If creation sings Your praises so will I
God of Your promise
You don't speak in vain
No syllable empty or void
For once You have spoken
All nature and science
Follow the sound of Your voice
And as You speak
A hundred billion creatures catch Your breath
Evolving in pursuit of what You said
If it all reveals Your nature so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You say
Every painted sky
A canvas of Your grace
If creation still obeys You so will I
So will I
So will I
If the stars were made to worship so will I
If the mountains bow in reverence so will I
If the oceans roar Your greatness so will I
For if everything exists to lift You high so will I
If the wind goes where You send it so will I
If the rocks cry out in silence so will I
If the sum of all our praises still falls shy
Then we'll sing again a hundred billion times
God of salvation
You chased down my heart
Through all of my failure and pride
On a hill You created
The light of the world
Abandoned in darkness to die
And as You speak
A hundred billion failures disappear
Where You lost Your life so I could find it here
If You left the grave behind You so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You've done
Every part designed in a work of art called love
If You gladly chose surrender so will I
I can see Your heart
Eight billion different ways
Every precious one
A child You died to save
If You gave Your life to love them so will I
Like You would again a hundred billion times
But what measure could amount to Your desire
You're the One who never leaves the one behind.
As I am writing this, while listening to the song over and over, I am in tears. I cannot contain in my heart God's love and I am praying that as you are reading this, you will also be blessed and feel God's amazing love and grace. I declare! In Jesus name. β€
