রাত ১০:১২ এসাইনমেন্ট রেডি করছি। সোমবার জমা দিতে হবে। মেজাজ টা একটু গরমি বলা চলে। জীবনের ১২ টা বছর বাংলা মিডিয়াম পড়ে এসে হঠাৎ ইংলিশ মিডিয়ামের সাথে কোন ভাবেই পেরে উঠতে পারছি না।
তার উপর পুরো এসাইনমেন্ট ইংলিশে লিখতে হবে। মনে মনে অর্থনীতি ডিপার্টমেন্ট এর গুষ্টি উদ্ধার করছি আর লেখার চেষ্টা করছি। হঠাৎ টেবিলকে কাপিয়ে ঘর ঘর শব্দে ফোনটা ভাইব্রেট করে উঠলো। আননোন নাম্বারের কল। মুখটা অন্ধকার করে। কলটা রিসিভ করলাম। একটা মেয়ে কন্ঠ সালাম দিলো.....

: মারডালা। আমিতে টুতে পড়ার সময় পেন্টটাও ঠিক ভাবে পরতে পারতাম না। আর আপনি কিনা ক্রাশ........ মাই গড।
: আসলে আমি একটু বেশি পাকনা ছিলাম। সেই সময় সবাই যখন জিজ্ঞেস করতো মা মনি বড় হয়ে কি হবা। আমি কি বলতাম জানেন?

: সাগর কে বিয়ে করবো। সবাই তখন হাহা করে হাসতো। আমার খুব রাগ লাগতো এটা নিয়ে। মাঝে সাগরের আম্মুকেও বলতাম আন্টি আমি কিন্তু সাগরকে বিয়ে করে আমাদের বাড়িতে নিয়ে যাবো। আন্টিও সবার মত হাসতো।

: কিন্তু ক্লাশ থ্রীতে উঠতেই সাগররা খাগড়াছড়ি চলে গেলো। ওর বাবার বদলি হয়ে ছিলো। সেদিন খুব কষ্ট হয়ে ছিলো। কারণ সাগর ছিলো আমার অন্যতম খেলার সাথি।
: তারপর।
: এরপর থেকে দীর্ঘদিন আমি ব্যস্ত ছিলাম আমার ছেলেমানুষিকতা নিয়ে। আমি ছিলাম আমার পাড়ার মধ্যে অন্যতম হাইলাইট মেয়ে। সুন্দর যে কম ছিলাম তাও না। অলটাইম ছেলেদের ড্রেস পরে ঘুরতাম বলে অনেকে উল্টাপাল্টা কথা বলতো কিন্তু আমি তার কেয়ার করতাম না।
ক্লাশ ৮ এ উঠতে উঠতে এলাকার বেশির ভাগ ছেলেই আমায় প্রপোজ করা শেষ করে ফেলেছিলো। এরি মধ্যে ৫ টা ছেলেকে রাস্তায় থাপ্পড় মেরেছিলাম।

: আমার যেতে ইচ্ছা করছিলোনা। তাই বাসা থেকে বাহিরে বের হয়ে কাউকে খুজছিলাম। হঠাৎ কাওছারের দেখা পেলাম। আমাদের বাসা থেকে একটু দূরেই ওদের বাসা। আমাদের সাথে পড়তো। একটু বোকা টাইপের। তাই আমি ওকে বললাম দোকান থেকে ডাল নিয়ে আসতে। ও টাকা না নিয়েই গেলো ডাল আনতে।
: তারপর
: যখন ডাল আনলো, আমি টাকা দিচ্ছিলাম, কিন্তু ও নিচ্ছিলো না। আমি কারণ জিজ্ঞেস করলাম। আর ও অমনি বললো ও নাকি আমাকে ভালোবাসে,,,,, মেজাজ টা এমন খারাপ হয়ে গেছিলো,,,,, যে ধরে সেই মাইর দিছিলাম।
: হাহাহা,,,,, বখাটে মেয়ে। তারপর কি হইছিলো।
: কাউছার কাদতে কাদতে বাসায় গেছিলো। বিকালে ওর নাকি জ্বর আসছিলো। পরে ওর আম্মু, আব্বুর কাছে বিচার নিয়ে আসছিলো।
: আপনার আব্বু কি বললো।
: আমাকে অন্য ঘরে আটকিয়ে রেখে আব্বু কথা বলছে ওনাদের সাথে। না হলে আবার মাইর খাইতো আমার হাতে।

: মে কি জুন মাসের কথা। আমি আর আপু যখন বিকালে ছাদে বসতাম তখন একটা ছেলে ঢিল দিতো।

: মাঝে মাঝে ঢিলের সাথে চিঠিও থাকতো।
: চিঠিতে কি লেখা থাকতো।
: কি করছো। কিন্তু কোন নাম লিখা থাকতো না। তারপর একদিন দেখি ছেলেটা ঢিল দিয়ে ওয়ালের পাশে দাড়িয়ে আছে।

: আমি ঢিলটা কুরিয়ে নিয়ে একদম ছেলেটার মাথায় সোজা ফেলে দিছি। কিন্তু ঢিলটা গিয়ে ছেলেটার কাধে লাগছে। আর ছেলে ওমাগো বলো, নেড়ি কুত্তা গুলো যেমন মাইর খাওযার পর দৌড়ায় আর পিছনে তাকায় সেই ভাবে পিছনে দেখছিলো আর দৌড়াচ্ছিলো।

: এরপর আর কোন দিন ওই ছেলেরে আমাদের বাড়ির আশে পাশে দেখি নাই। এমনকি যদি বাইরে কোথায় দেখা হতো ছেলেটা মুখ লুকিয়ে পালাতো।
: আপনি তো আসলেই আমার কল্পনার বাহিরে কোন ক্যারেক্টার। খুব মজাই লাগছে আপনার গল্পটা।

: আমি ভেছিলাম আজ হযত দেখা হবে না। কিন্তু আজব ব্যপার আমি মেলায় ঢুকার সময় ছেলেটার সাথে দেখা হয়ে গেলো ছেলেটা মেলা থেকে বের হচ্ছিলো। আমি সেইদিন এতটাই শক খেয়েছিলাম যা বলে বোঝাতে পারবো না। আর এভাবে ছেলেটার সম্পর্কে জানার আগ্রহটা বেড়ে যায় আমার। এভাবে আরো কিছু দিন যাবার পর একদিন রাতে দেখি ছেলেটা আমায় ফ্রেন্ড রিকুয়েষ্ট দিয়েছে ফেসবুকে। আর সেদিনি ওর নামটা জানা হলো। ছেলেটার নাম বিজয়।
: হুম বুঝছি তারপর প্রেম হয়ে গেলো তাই না।
: ধুর আপনি কথার মধ্যে এভাবে হেন্ডেল মারবেন না। এমন করলে কিন্তু আপনার হাত পা ভেঙ্গে পাউডার বানিয়ে দিবো।

: তারপর ধীরে ধীরে আমার মাথায় মেয়ের ভুত চাপাতে শুরু করলো। আমি ধীরে ধীরে আম্মুকে রান্নার কাজে হেল্প করতে শুরু করলাম,,, এবং কিছুদিনেই মুটামুটি রান্না সহ মেয়েদের অনেক কাজই শিখে গেলাম। আসতে আসতে নিজের ভেতরের সুপ্তনারী সত্বা জাগ্রত হতে লাগলো। জানেন এখনো না আমার এসব ভাবলেই অবাক লাগে। আগে কখনো ভাবিনি আমার দ্বারা সাংসারিক কাজ হবে। কিন্তু সেই সময়গুলোতে আমি সংসারের স্বপ্ন দেখতে শুরু করলাম।

তোহ আমি জাচ্ছি আমার খালামনির বাসায়! এর আগে কখনো ট্রেনে যাওয়া হয়নি এটাই প্রথম!
তোহ আমি রেলওয়ে স্টেশনে গিয়ে বসে আছি,, দেখতে দেখতে ট্রেন চলে এলো আর দেখলাম জানালার পাশে আমার সেট নিজেকে খুব ভাগ্যবান মনে হচ্ছিলো!
কিছুখন পরেই খুবি সুন্দরী একটা মেয়ে এশে পাশে বসলো!
ট্রেন চলতে লাগলো তার আপন গতিতে,,, হঠাৎই মেয়েটি বলে উঠল-
