FOODlog #397: Thai Pad Kra Pao
Possible the most famous Thai dish asides from Tom Yum, this is a super simple dish to prepare and a recipe you'll want to have in your cooking arsenal.
We had this for one of our staff meals at the cafe and it was super delicious! Spicy, savory and packed full of umami mince meat that paired so well with rice.
It's also topped with a shallow fried fried egg which gives you a crispy edge and a creamy yolk in the center. Probably my favorite way to have eggs but a little messy cooking at home since it needs the pan and oil to be at a very high temperature to get it just right.
Amazing lunch that was so aromatic and flavorful! Absolutely satisfying!
