FOODlog #375: Kewpie Mayo Roasted Chicken
There was a fire drill exercise recently at where I work. I was in the middle of prepping lunch for the staff and then the fire drill took place which we were informed the previous day that this would happen so I planned an easy meal to prepare.
I made my roasted chicken dish that only takes a few ingredients to make. It is the easiest roasted chicken recipe you'll ever need.
All you need are, chicken, garlic, white pepper, kewpie mayo (or any mayo would do), and oyster sauce. Marinade the chicken with the ingredients above for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or overnight would be best.
Once they are done marinating, get them into a 190 degree Celsius oven for 30-40 minutes depending on the size of those chicken thighs and the dish is done. Remove them from the oven and serve them with your favorite sides or carbs.
For this round, I served it with some frisee lettuce that's been lightly dressed and some mini hash browns that are frozen and all you need to do is fry them or oven roast them.
Super simple recipe that'll make your life easier in the kitchen!
