FOODlog #372: Korean BBQ Roasted Chicken

One of my colleagues cooked lunch the other day. He made some Korean Spicy barbecue chicken which he oven roasted. The sauce he got from the clarence section at a grocer which he didn't need to spend lots of time making the sauce since it was a premix.

The chicken was boneless chicken thighs that he marinated then oven roasted it at 180 degrees for 30 minutes and basting it with the spicy BBQ marinate every 10 minutes.

It turned out sticky, charred, spicy, and sweet. Super delicious pairing with the chicken and especially eaten with rice. We got a side of stir fried Kailan vegetable as well to make this dish super colourful and appetising.

Topped it off with some of that chili oil drippings from roasting the chicken as well as some crispy fried garlic and freshly sliced spring onions. It was such a flavorful rice bowl that had a well balanced flavor as well as nutrition.

A super delicious lunch that was simple but super delicious!
