FOODlog #370: Unagi with Rice

After watching Oppenheimer, which is so far the best movie of the year maybe even 2 years, me and my friends went for dinner at a Japanese place called Yayoi in the mall we watched the movie.

It was quite late and I guess we were one of the last tables being served. I ordered their Unagi with rice set that came with a side of iceberg lettuce dressed with sesame seed sauce. It also came with some pickled kyuri and a bowl of Miso soup.

Everything tasted as it should. Nothing really outstanding as you would expect from stuff that are basically prepared from bottled sauces to table.

The Unagi and rice was delicious nonetheless especially since I've been craving for some Unagi for some time now.

Service was prompt and the food came hot. If you want Japanese and a quick meal, this is a place that can certainly do that.
