Made a peanut butter and chili sauce the other day for noodles and it was absolutely amazing! It's a Chinese dish that's popular in China and I decided to make it.

Since we have chili oil at the cafe, all I needed was peanut butter and to mix it with soy sauce and sesame oil and the sauce mix for the noodles was done. You can use your favorite store bought chili oil and not necessarily a homemade one. It'll work fine and still be very delicious!

For the noodles, I used a hand pulled type Beijing noodle which has a chewy texture and a great mouthfeel.

Add a little of the noodle cooking water to it and the sauce is done and ready to mix with the noodles. Top it with sesame seed and freshly sliced spring onions for garnish and the dish is ready to be served.

Super delicious meal with amazing umami packed in every bite. Will definitely make this dish again in the near future. A handy and easy recipe to have in your cooking book.
