FOODlog #352: Spicy Mala Dry Ramen
Every quarter we have a calibration team meeting at our company's 1st outlet. We have talks and games before a dinner together and this time we had dinner at the outlet cooked by the chefs of that outlet.
We had a hotpot dinner with 3 different types of soup bases - tomyam, sichuan Mala, and a chicken broth.
There were a large variety of assorted meats like prawns, pork, meatballs, tofu, and vegetables. There were also a few noodles to choose from like ramen and yee mee.
For mine, I mixed and match the proteins and got a mix of prawns, meats, and tofu. I also took the ramen which were fresh ramen and super delicious. The texture was amazing and the flavor of the broth I chose sichuan Mala which had a punchy kick to the soup.
There were also lots of condiments like garlic, chili, spring onions, and coriander to top on your bowl of noodle soup.
I went back for like 3-4 rounds of meats and 1 round of ramen. It was a delicious meal made by the chefs there and really appreciate it as I know how hard it is to cook a meal especially for 20+ people.
