Recently been going to this restaurant called 'Restoran Kari Kepala Ikan Taman Melawati'. It's a place that serves local 'mamak' food as well as Malay ala-Thai dishes and also a stall that serves really nice satay.

I've tried the satay there before and it's a go-to spot now whenever I'm craving satay so this time I tried something else on the menu. I ordered a plate of 'Nasi Goreng USA', which is fried rice served with a side of beef stir fry in some spicy sweet sauce and topped with a fried egg.

The rice was cooked perfectly. Wasn't soggy and also wasn't dry. The sauce was also well balanced with sweet, spicy, and savory and the portion was quite generous with beef, onions, and cauliflowers.

The egg was a small egg which seems like a grade D sized egg. Although small it was cooked well too with the egg perfectly fried having crispy edges and the yolk still runny when you cut into it.

Really good meal however the price was on the higher side at RM16. I guess the prices of all eateries are heading to the be in the RM20 zone sooner or later.

Overall, yummy and will definitely recommend people to try the food.
