FOODlog #206: Artisan Sourdough Pizzas

Earlier this month me and some friends went to celebrate @hooiyewlim 's birthday. We went to a friend's cafe that has recently opened and they were having their soft launch.

Its a place that serves artisan Sourdough pizzas and other baked goods. He's a professional Baker so all his bake goods have great quality and taste really good.

We ordered 3 different types of pizzas to share - a margherita, a mushroom pizza, and a beef brisket pizza.

The margherita was a standard margherita with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh Basil.

The mushroom pizza is served with a mushroom base pizza with fresh mushrooms and truffle oil, topped with fresh rocket. The flavors of this pizza is a must try as its very earthy and the rocket, which is my favorite salad vegetable, giving it a nice hint of peppery taste to the pizza.

The beef brisket pizza was similar the the margherita only that it has some beef brisket slices on top.

The dough is what makes the pizza. A super light and airy yet lots of body and flavor as the base of the pizza.

We also got a side of truffle cheese fries to share and Isaac having himself a birthday pumpkin soup.

A nice new and cozy place to hangout over drinks and amazing pizzas.
