FOODlog #176: Happy Terry Burger
The Happy Terry - a chicken teriyaki burger that is only available for weekdays and a favorite amongst the working crowd here in Bangsar.
It's a very simple burger with minimal amount of ingredients but good quality ingredients that makes it very delicious and a great meal.
The chicken is a brined chicken thigh and then it's seared on the flat top until the skin is golden brown and the chicken well cooked. The chicken thigh is then topped with in-house made teriyaki glaze and freshly crushed black pepper and sweet red onions.
The buns are a sesame seed brioche bun that's buttered and toasted till golden brown. Next the an in-house made garlic mayo and fresh crisp kale is added then the chicken thigh and its ready to plate.
You can get this burger with fries or a side of rocket and lettuce salad to accompany your meal. With the fries also comes a chipotle mayo sauce for dipping which pairs really nicely with the fries.
There's a customer that always ordered a takeaway of this burger with a side of salad and an extra patty for the burger. Its always once a week and the exact same order so I assume its the same person.
