Another dish that has some really good quality ingredients is the cheese steak sandwich at Superluna Cafe. They serve this item all morning and afternoon but normally people only order this dish for lunch. You can add on to the meal a side of salad or fries.

Their salad is a mixture of frisse lettuce and rocket that is tossed with in-house made salad dressing which is made out of dijon mustard and vinegar which is really flavorful and delicious.

The fries that is served is also really good quality fries that have it's skin on giving it that rich potato-ey flavor. After frying in the oil, it's soft and tender and just needs a little seasoning of salt to make it super delicious.

Anyway, back to the cheese steak sandwich!

The cheese steak sandwich is beef slices cooked in a cast iron skillet to get a nice sear on it. It starts by heating up garlic oil and once the skillet is scorching hot, 6-7 pieces of beef slices are added to the pan. Next, beef fat, butter and rosemary are added and cooked together with the steak.

This gives it a wonderful aroma and flavor and finally some caramelized onions are added the mix and some water to give it a little gravy.

For the bread, 2 slices of sourdough are buttered and toasted and the steak slices are added on to the bread and roasted peppers are added on top of that. Finally a slice of aged cheddar cheese is melted on the sandwich and then it's all pressed in a panini machine.

It's then sliced into half showing off it's beautiful colors and melted cheese. Look at how beautiful this is!
