My Mum bought some delicious 'Yong Tau Foo' from one of the oldest restaurants that's been serving it since 1974. They've been the go-to place for 'Yong Tau Foo' as the quality has always been consistent.

The price nowadays has since increased to RM2 per piece which when I was a kid it was 50c per piece. Still affordable in my opinion considering you're getting top quality 'Yong Tau Foo' with lots of fillings in them. They are generous with the fish paste filling and their vegetables are fresh and large in size which makes each piece very worth the price.

The other day we got some fish meatballs, white tofu, brinjal, bitter gourd, fried tofu, ladies fingers, and red chili. All these are stuffed with their homemade fish paste that's made from fresh fish daily.

We also got some pork dumplings that is in a vegetable broth. The broth is very clean and flavorful and the dumpling soft yet doesn't fall apart.

The sauces are super delicious which you get the red sweet sauce which I'm not sure what's it even made of but it's what typically comes with 'Yong Tau Foo'. Another dipping sauce is a chili sauce which pairs perfectly with the meal.

What a yummy dinner that we don't often eat. Super delicious local specialty here in Kuala Lumpur.
