Yesterday felt like one of those days where everything was down, but there were a few bright spots. The real star was Theta; both of their tokens, TFUEL and THETA, saw significant gains. THETA, in particular, managed to crack into the market cap top 10, displacing the spot previously held by Chainlink (LINK). This looks to be a continuation of momentum from previous weeks with new headlines beyond those acknowledging its growth.
Dent (DENT) has been growing furiously over the past few days. It was yesterday's second-biggest gainer and is up nearly 250% over the past week. According to their Twitter profile, Dent is "tokenizing the mobile data industry and creating a world-wide marketplace on Ethereum to sell and buy Mobile Data." They seem somewhat like the mobile phone equivalent of Helium (HNT), which has also been seeing strong gains lately. Dent exploded into the market cap top 100 last week and has been a steady gainer since.
Bitcoin Gold (BTG) is number 3 on today's list. In terms of market cap, Bitcoin Gold has been holding steady in the $150-$200 million range since its downfall early in 2018, but it seems to have sprung back to life in mid-February. Since then, the market cap has touched $600 million, which represents nearly 3x growth. @bitcoingold teased on Twitter that "things are brewing" on March 3, but it didn't give much detail beyond stating they've been more active than people realize.
And, finally, we have PancakeSwap (CAKE). Almost every day this week, PancakeSwap has announced new partners for their syrup pools. Badger DAO, LTO Network, Mirror Protocol, and UniTrade pools were all announced in the past 3 days, which is right on the heels of their big DNS incident. Is this a correction from the lost ground due to that incident or hype for the new syrup pools? Perhaps a little of both.
