Pundi X (NPXS) has been a big gainer for the past couple of weeks. Their goal is to enable people to "use digital currency anytime, anywhere" with products aimed at businesses and consumers. On March 30, Pundi X is doing a "redenomination," where they'll reduce the token supply by converting 258 billion NPXS to just 258 million PUNDIX tokens. Harmony (ONE) has also seen rapid growth recently, and in the last 24 hours, they've crossed the $1 billion market cap milestone. The team has been doing a lot of AMAs to get the word out and drive adoption. There haven't been big announcements this week, and I think gains mostly build on the previous momentum.
Helium (HNT), the "world of hotspots" company, has also been steadily gaining ground. This article from January suggests that IoT growth, partnerships, and ease of mining are possibly responsible for its trajectory. Still, they also announced an expansion in Australia yesterday, which could be a contributor.
Cointelegraph published an article yesterday about why Siacoin (SC) and others are gaining. The article notes that Sia tweeted on March 15 to look out for big announcements this week, and rumors may be boosting prices.
Finally, we have THETA (THETA), which continues to creep up and has grown 9x in the past 3 months. Bulls on TreadingView think the trend will continue, too, with predictions from $12-13 all the way to $24. Theta announced earlier this week that they were granted their 2nd US patent for "ultra-high transaction throughput micropayments to support decentralized video and data delivery," and they continue to be a community favorite.
