Go with the flow

Go with the flow. There is something that I see that is wrong with how we perceive this statement. Go with the flow--meaning that we should go along the demands of nature.

We should not resist. Otherwise, we may be prone to the calamities of life.

Example, you defy nature and do illegal logging. What do you think will be the result? Even elementary pupils know about what will happen.

Another example. Try eating high sodium foods. In time you will get your kidneys screaming.

When you go against nature, something bad always happens.

We are all witnesses to them.

What then should be done? It is imperative that we study the laws. Not necessarily the laws set by humans but the law of nature.

When we try to list down the natural laws in any aspect of life, list them down, and follow them, the most probable outcome is a success in what we do.

Game theory, economic laws, mathematical laws, physics laws, and so on. Name all those. They are not necessarily man-made but laws studied and written down by humans.

It is only with those that we are able to succeed. And if we don't give a high regard for those laws, it would be foolishness. It is stupidity.

Therefore, I believe that we should go with the flow. It is not really to just go with what the others are doing. This should be more appropriately used to going with the flow of nature.

Of course, when you mean going with the flow of human activities then there is a high tendency of losing self in the crowd and not being able to stand up for ones convictions.

Therefore, go with the flow of nature but don't allow yourself to be carried away by fad.
