Don't let the world distract your going. The world is full of worldly goods and you'll be tempted before you even know it.

Though having a lot of options is good, it does not do you any good if you keep being swayed. If you keep being awed by all that you see and you forget to decide on what to settle on.

Let go of the things that does not give you growth. Or better yet, know what discipline means. Be modest in doing things.

How are we different as part of the previous generation from the youngsters nowadays? I wouldn't be so sure if I would have been able to experience the simple things in life if it happened that gadgets were readily available before.

Thank goodness, I was only with my friends with either our own silliness or just our papers and art materials. Playing and enjoying childhood were our main thing before.

Gadgets and all those things are not bad at all. In fact, they are very usable in advancing the knowledge of the young. But adults must also play their roles in emphasizing the more important things in life--to live!

It will be worthy of our time to keep experimenting on what will save our children from being addicted to mobile games and the like. Instilling discipline and not giving up on them will be the goal of our parenting.

Oh, I am so worried about my little daughter who can't seem to give up on what she was watching on YouTube. I have to do a lot of talking and tricking to get her off the phone.

One of my sons learned the art of negotiating just so he could get his hands on my Oppo phone. I had to alternate her modules and the phone and also playing outside with other kids.

These days, I am distracted so much by the many options in this society. Hence I had to reevaluate what I have and what are not so necessary. I had to cut on so many things to be able to focus on my things.

We should take advantage of the many technologies nowadays instead of being ruined by them. That should not be the case.

Technologies shouldn't be here to spoil us but should instead help us have more things accomplished in a given time. Like using the washing machine while cleaning the house.

When we have allergies coming in contact with detergents for longer time, the washing machine will also be quite helpful.

Instead of waiting for the pandemic to cease, we can use technology to continue learning as is the case this pandemic.

We have to always remember not to lose ourselves in the middle of all these entertainment apps and games and movies and dramas. We have to find time crocheting our mufflers or cardigans. We have to continue sewing our favorite pants ripped a little. We have to continue with our thing, that something we are passionate about.

So that when we look back, we have done our thing and not gotten lost in the wilderness of life. Or a better phrase, in the vastness of choices.

And if you unluckily haven't figure out your thing yet, it's not late, you can always explore and live your life.

Personally, technology is a helpful tool for me. Who doesn't find it helpful by the way? Hehe.

That is, because I like researching, blogging, and using technology to communicate, it helps me so much in attaining my objectives. But there are a lot of distractions like games, movies. So I had to cut on those and focus instead of my writing and researching.

Games and movies are not bad but we have to decide. Or schedule entertainment activities. Thing is they really pique your interest so best to be away from them. Or best thing would be to do your thing for as long as you're enjoying, and rest only when you thing you are being emptied out.

Anyway, plan your way out of messes and create an orderly and more focused life.
