Working on my dreams

Hello everyone, hope you all had a great day. I have not been able to write yesterday because I felt a bit devastated by the news I received last Monday, and that I was not qualified for the job that I recently applied and there was no text or email informing us that we were not included. Well that's just how life is, gotta move on and focus on the bigger pictures on what lies ahead.

Just this morning, a friend of mine, who is currently working as a substitute teacher in our town, asked me to tag along with her to the Schools Division of our province. I was hesitant at first, as I am low of budget lately. But I was thinking, well this is a good chance to get myself familiar once again with the place since I was there the last time 2 years ago. And who knows, I might get lucky this year and be given a chance to be a qualified teacher applicant so I decided to go with her, with a promise that she will treat me to lunch(char, bribery hahaha). Also, I could inquire about other jobs that are currently offered by the Schools Division.

So how our day went . .

We were preparing ourselves at 6AM because we will be commuting by bus and it will pass by our house at 7AM, so much for a quick preparation. At around 7:20AM we have already boarded on the bus and was on our 2 hour travel to the Schools Division. We had a bit of chit-chat about how my friends' life has been lately, was she enjoying her job, and about her appointment for permanent teaching position. I was so happy for her that there a higher possibility that any day by now she will be receiving a call about her appointment. But for now, she is busy in preparing her papers for her salary. We had laughs on the way to our destination and it has been fun, suddenly my friend felt sleepy so she had naps while on travel. My goodness, I think being a teacher really is tiresome haha.

And at around 9:20AM, we've arrived at the Schools Division of our province. Such a great feeling, it kinda feels like I am about to become a regular teacher, haha.(gotta chase that dream soon)

As we arrived, my friend asked for a priority number for her transaction at the office. It was then by chance that we met with a friend here in read, since she also having a transaction with the office.

And she was transferring from one office to another one. As I've known, one office was for her concerns about her salary, while inside the very office of the Division was about her inquiry for her appointment. I waited with her for an hour since there was a queue. After waiting for a longer time, after her series of inquiries, she was then informed that her appointment was still waiting for a signed approval and that her respective Adminstrative Officer of their school will be the one to inform her about her appointment. It may take days for now but, she is already near into making her dream a reality. Becoming a permanent teacher, hehe.

So we then exited from the office feeling high hopes and she asked to go with her to a nearby park, to which I agreed. But first we had a short stop for a snack, since she is feeling a bit hungry.

We've really enjoyed our time here, as we don't to bond like this too often at our place because we are busy with our lives. After we finished eating out snacks, we've straight to the park nearby. The

I really liked myself with this pic. It's been a while since I was last here. That was way back 2012, during our 3rd Year High School Field Trip. My friend really enjoyed her, that she even have me hold her phone as she was to record a TikTok of her self with the park as a background. And it really went well. But after we had few snaps of ourselves here in the park, we quickly took shade since it was so hot as it is an hour before noon, and we decided to eat lunch before we travel back home through a bus. And we ate at our ever favorite fastfood, Jollibee.

Since we were still full from our snacks earlier, we really didn't enjoy our lunch but since it is Jollibee, we ain't got a choice but to eat it all, haha. And at exactly 12 at noon, we finished eating. We relaxed ourselves for more minutes before heading out as we will be waiting for the arrival of the bus so we won't miss our trip. We waited outside in a shed so hot, and got on the bus at nearly 1PM and arrived safely at our house nearly 2 hours later.

I indeed had a great today, and I am hopeful that one day, when already steps closer to make my dream a reality, I already know where to begin since I was able to accompany my friend on the process that she has been.
