A productive day, indeed. .
I really thought that today is going to be another day that I will be slacking off and not get any tasks done.
But thanks God, the Sun is finally out.
As I've said earlier, I really thought that I won't be able to do anything productive, aside from washing the dishes. (Char mabait yurn? Haha)
In fact, I started my day browsing through social media and then playing my ever favorite Pokémon game through a Gameboy Emulator app, been playing this for years and just never gets old because I didn't get to play in my childhood unlike my elementary classmates. And morning started with drizzles or light rains. I really thought that today will just be another day of waiting and its my third day of hoping for a sunny day to finally finish my task.
But then, around Noon-time, the ever changing climate of our town finally became okay and it's all Sunny now.
I first observed our surroundings because I thought that it would rain again the next instant but gladly it didn't, and after we ate our lunch, I finally decided to seize the opportunity to sundry our harvested rice.
Yes, finally, my long wait is over. And just by looking at it really drains me, haha. It's a lot of hardwork, as it was only me who did all of the lifting with the 3 half-full sacks of rice (wow, feeling strong hahaha) and yes the rice we had in all are just our share since my cousin was the one who did all the hardwork in planting and cultivating the rice up to harvest season, but it was planted on my fathers piece of land so yeah that kind of explains it. But even so, we are still grateful that these came on Monday and it will really save us our budget in a few weeks.
Actually, we have already started to sundry our share of rice last Monday in the morning as soon as it was delivered to our house and since it was necessary to make it dry as soon as possible for proper preservation and to avoid damage on the rice grains as well as prevent it from sprouting. But then, the climate changed in mid-day and it was about to rain in the afternoon as it has been cloudy and there seems to be no chance of the sun ever shining back again that day. So we, hastily folded the"trapal" or tarpaulin(as it says in English, haha) that we used in placing the rice near the highway to prevent it from getting wet again, all the lifting back and forth makes me feel stronger hahaha, kidding aside.
And then poof! I had to wait for 3 days for the weather to be all sunny before I can continue with this task of mine.
Also, this task reminds me of my ever 1st heartbreak that I had while I was applying for a job at PSA - Leyte. I was so hopeful that I'd get hired on my first job application ever, but then the uncertain happened and there was an online examination that I wasn't able to take because I was so busy in sun-drying our rice grains that time that I missed the call from the HR, which was supposed to notify us about an online personality test that will be due at 2PM at that date. I was sad the next days as I was informed that I will not be a part of the team to be hired. It was charged to experience and thinking about this task, my mother would laugh if I tell her about my not so pleasant memories with this task. And I still got lucky and was blessed because I got hired on the next hiring.
And now, since it's almost sunset, time to store the rice grains back into the sacks and hopefully it will be sent to a rice miller soon for consumption. Tadahh!
Now my day is done, and boy, I'm so proud of myself because of what I've just accomplished, haha.

Well, happy for your productiveness. Buti ba pa kayo may sarili ng palayan hihi. Di na namomoblema masyadosa bigas. Grabe nga yung ulan ngayon. Sunod2.
