TelCos

I'm Alvin, I lived here in the philippines. TelCos or Telecommunication Companys here in the philippines is unreliable. Back in 2016, we had our first smartphones, HSPA+ enabled phones,we hope for our techonologically advancement because of our smartphones but our telcos block or took away our hopes. we experienced too slow internet speed and bad latency even though we had capable and advance technology. I remember 10kpbs of internet speed even though my signal bar if high and stable, i wasn't watching youtube videos during that day. Peek hours kept our internet speed slower than early mornings. My internet Promo cost almost 2$ or 90 pesos per week,for us it was costly and not be able to afford later on. Now we moved to another province and slightly improved our devices and we experienced slightly faster internet speed here but the cost is the same. At first it was better than the last time but later on we experienced slowing internet speed despite of the near cell tower behind our house.Early This month, Our President Duterte ordered TelCos to improve their internet speed or else they will be closed. We were happy to heard that from our highest leader, Globe Telecom said that because of filings of permits slows down their improvement and give another statement that they are improving their services by investing billions of dollars.
