GSP First Adventure `In Photo:` ***GSP First Adventure: Elementary Days*** It was an exciting experience being involved in scouting. Yes, my first time to join the girl scouting adventures was great and worth remembering. A young person like me enjoyed the balanced program of activities, events and experiences in girl scouting. Being one of the patrol leaders was not that easy... quite a hard task to tackle. It really stirred my mind and burned my energy. These things happened every time we get ready for the different challenges like making of origami craft, playing of the swat the mozzie, preparing different grace songs and demonstrating ways on how to use a scarf. I enjoyed the time I was tasked to do the cooking. I cannot forget the Chicken Imo which we cooked for one of our dinners. We felt like we were in the Max's Restaurant. Yummy! And the most unforgettable part of my adventure was when we rode on a zip line. How nervous it was! But before doing so, I had change of mind instead of quitting, I frequently motivated myself by saying, "kaya ko to." With God's grace, I was able to face the challenge both physically and mentally. Clouds of Love The sky was getting dark, but I was still walking alone on the darkened road. I still can't believe what happened earlier. I can no longer hide this feeling, that in a moment the weight of feelings I feel inside me can explode. When the rain fell on the ground, at the same time my tears flowed down my cheeks. I promised before that I would not cry from the same man again, but here I am crying again while my knees are shaking. It looks like destiny is really just playing with me. I shouted loudly as if there was no tomorrow. I gave him a chance, but he did not appreciate it. He does not prove his worth to me. He just really makes me feel. I should not be like this if I just opened my eyes from the truth from the very beginning. I kept crying as I walked alone on the cold road. I no longer care where my feet take me. I should still be thankful because somehow, the rain covers up the fact that I am crying. I was about to cross the road when my eyes glazed over at the approaching vehicle from my right. I could hear a loud sound echoing from nowhere, but I just let my two feet stay where I was standing. I just waited for what would happen next. This incident should not have happened. If Erie had just told her how she really felt, this incident would not have happened. I gave him a chance, but he did not appreciate it. He did not really appreciate the opportunity I gave him. I just faked my true feelings earlier because I don't want to look weak and still chasing in front of him. Erie, on the other hand, was able to reflect on what he had said earlier. He knew in himself that he really loved Sandy so he immediately ran towards Sandy. His heart was beating faster and faster as he run fast in the dark road. Moments later his eyes reflected on Sandy's image. But he was just as surprised to see Sandy crossing the street. Even before she was hit by the car he immediately ran towards Sandy and even before it collided he grabbed one of her hands tightly and quickly pulled Sandy closer to him. In just a second, Sandy will be hit by a speeding vehicle. Thanks to Erie and he saved his loved one. Sandy was cold and still seemed to be shaking. She did not know if she was still dreaming but she could not stop sobbing. He hugged Erie again and kept saying she was not dreaming. After a while Sandy calmed down completely, and so did the rain. Wala ng mahahanap pang iba, siya’y tunay na pinagpala.             Pinagkaloob ng Maykapal para sa ating lahat, upang maglingkod sa bayan at ipagtanggol ang sinuman na nangangailangan. Pinagkalooban ng natatanging kakayahan, namumukod-tangi sa lahat, napakagiting, at maituturing din na kaibigan.             Maipagpupunyagi kahit saang sulok pa man. Dilat ang mata at walang kinakatakutan. Lahat ng ito’y sumisimbolo sa kanyang katapatan. Yumao man siya, ang ala-ala niya’y mananatiling nakatatak sa bawat puso’t isipan ng karamihan.             Ang salitang beterano ay parang napakasimple lamang ngunit malaman ang ibig sabihin, ang katawagang ito ay tumutukoy sa mga beteranong militar na nagsilbi o nagsilbi nang matagal sa hukbong sandatahan kaya’t binigyan ng pensiyon ng pamahalaan at karangalan. Maaari din na tumutukoy ito sa pagkakadalubhasa ng isang tao sa isang bagay.             Taon-taon ay ginugunita natin ang “Araw ng Kagitingan” ngunit hindi lang ito ipinagdidiwang para sa ating mahal na mga bayani na may nagawang mabuti para sa ating bansa ngunit ito ay pwede ring matawag sa ibang kataga na “Araw ng Bataan” bilang paggunita sa pagiging bayani ng ating mahal na mga sundalo sa pagtatagumpay nila sa ikalawang pandaigdigang digmaan. Ngunit bumalik tayo sa kwento ng buhay ng isang beterano na lumaking pakakakitaan ng pagiging aktibo, lumaking may takot sa Diyos at may galang. May malinis na hangarin at mapapatunayan ito sa alin mang intitusyon. Tanging hangad ay magkaroon ng matiwasay na buhay ang lahat ng katutubong Pilipino.             Nagpakadalubhasa sa propesyong sundalo, nagpakitang gilas at lalauna’y nakamtan ang inaasam-asam na mapabilang na isang ganap na sundalo. Hindi nag-atubili at pinatunayan ang kanyang kakayahan at ito’y nagsilbing lakas at inspirasyon niya upang kanyang magampanan ang kanyang tungkulin na maglingkod sa bayan.             Boom! Tog! Bog! Maingay na pagsabog mula sa ikalawang pandaigdigang digmaan. Ayon sa kanyang mga iniwan sa buhay, siya kasama ang iba pang sundalong Pilipino ay nagpakitang gilas sa pakikipagdigma sa mga hapones. Hindi nagdalawang isip na gawin ang nararapat kahit buhay pa nila ang nakataya.             Buhat sa pagkakaroon ng matibay na depensa at sandatahang lakas ng mga Hapones, unti-unting hindi kinaya ng mga magigiting nating sundalong Pilipino na pataubin ang katunggali.             Napabagsak ang pwersa ng magigiting nating sundalo sa Bataan, nagkaroon ng napakasikat ngayon na “death march” na kung saan marami sa ating kababayan ang naglakad ng isang daang kilometro mula Bataan hanggang sa Capas, Tarlac.             Ngunit ng dahil dito nagkalat sa buong daigdig ang katagang “Remember Bataan” na nagpapahiwatig ng pagiging matapang ng mga ipinagmamalaki nating mga sundalo.             Habang lumalayo ang pagkwekwentuhang naganap, ang pagsukong ito ay hindi sagisag ng pagiging talunan ng ating mga sundalo sa ikalawang pandaigdigang digmaan, bagkus nagging dahilan rin ito upang magkaroon ng tinatawag nating tulong mula sa kapanalig nating bansa.             Ang mga amerikanong sundalo ay nagpabilib rin sa digmaang ito, ngunit hindi ibig sabihin na sila ang bida. Oo nga’t malaki talaga ang papel ng Hukbong Amerikano sa Liberasyon ng Pilipinas ngunit hindi sila umano nagpahuli dahil malaki rin ang papel ng iba’t ibang grupo ng ating magigiting na sundalo upang maghatid ng mga natatanging  impormasyon sa mga Amerikano at nagbigay tulong din sila sa paghahanda sa mga operasyon sa pamamagitan ng mga ulat katalinuhan, at sa pakikipagbakbakan.             Sa digmaang ito, maraming tao ang nagsilbing bayani hindi lang puro sundalo ang nagpakitang gilas, maging ang ibang kababayan na gusting ipaglaban ang bayan ay nakisama sa pagpapataob ng mapaminsalang hukbon ng mga hapones.             Ordinaryong tao, maging guro, mayroong aktor at aktres, andiyan pa ang magigiting na mga doctor, singer at marami pang iba na nagsanib pwersa upang ipabagsak ng tuluyan ang mga hapones. Nagtulong-tulong, nagdanak man ng dugo hindi pinanghinaan n g tuhod na ipagpatuloy ang pakikidigma para iligtas an gating bayan.             Maraming buhay ang nasadlak sa dusa, marami ang nagbuwis, sandamakmak an g nagpakahirap.   Maraming pamilya ang nalungkot. Maraming gusali ang nawasak. Maraming probinsya ang napinsala, ngunit mmarami ding Pilipio ang ngayo’y nagging bayani ng makasaysayang digmaan.

Naghintay nalang ako sa susunod na mangyayari. Ang pangyayaring ito ay hindi dapat nangyari. Kung sinabi lang ni Erie kanina ang totoo nyang nararamdaman, hindi mangyayari ang pangyayaring ito. Ilang sandali pa ay naaninag na ng kaniyang mga mata ang imahe ni Sandy. Ngunit ganon na lamang ang pagkagulat niya ng makitang tulalang tumatawid si Sandy sa kalsada. Bago pa man siya mahagip ng kotse ay agad siyang tumakbo papunta kay Sandy at bago pa man mabangga ito ay hinawakan niya ng mahigpit ang isang kamay nito at mabilis niyang hinila ai Sandy palapit sa kaniya. Isang segundo na lamang ay tiyak na mababangga si Sandy ng rumaragasang sasakyan. Salamat kay Erie at nailigtas niya ang kaniyang mahal. Nanlalamig si Sandy at tila nanginginig pa. Hindi niya alam kung panaginip pa ba ang kaniyang nasisilayan pero hindi niya mapigilan ang kaniyang paghikbi. Muli niya niyakap si Erie at patuloy na sinasabing sana ay hindi siya nananaginip. Pagkalipas ng ilan pang sandali ay tuluyan ng kumalma si Sandy, ganon din ang ulan. It is similar to working in a word processing program like Microsoft Word, so the experience should be pretty familiar to you.* All you have to do is insert a text box, or click an existing placeholder and your cursor will appear inside. Now you can type anything you want. You can use the space bar on your keyboard to add spaces. And if you are going to start a new line, just press Enter. If you make a ~~mistake~~, that's okay. You can **press** the **backspace** or **delete** to fix it. You can also use your **keyboard's arrow keys** to move the insertion point left, right, down or up. **This is useful if you only need to move a few spaces or lines at a time, but you can also jump over entire words at a time. Hold the Control key and press the left or right arrow keys to jump over one word at a time.** There may come a time when you need to work with text in your presentation, maybe to copy and paste it, or to move it to a different location. To do that, you need to know how to select the text first. Just click and drag your mouse over the text, then let go. See how it's highlighted grey? Trend in the world globalization affects developed countries differently than developing countries, so a developed country inside of this developed country is a company. This company has always operated in the developed country which means its factories and workers are all there, but since technology and communication have improved this companies see that it could move its operations to a developing country and pay lower wages and ship their products back to the developed country to sell. Remember that globalization affects developed countries differently than developing countries so for developed countries globalization is bad for workers because when companies move their operations to a developing country that means that workers are losing their jobs but globalization is good for consumers in developed countries when companies move their factories to developing countries they can pay workers low wages which means they can sell their products at lower prices this is good for consumers because they can afford to buy more stuff. So, let's think about how globalization affects developing countries globalization is good for workers in developing countries it creates more jobs so that people in poverty are able to earn money and support their families but these jobs aren't always great companies pay low wages sometimes less than $2 a day and the working conditions aren't very good either workers often work long hours and have unsafe organ conditions developing countries often don't have laws that protect workers like developed countries do so companies take advantage of their workers.
