New Mistakes Are The Best Mistakes

Everyday life continues to throw lessons at you till you get the point, but most times the already imprinted fear of making mistakes draws the curtain to an opportunity to learn something new and in most cases valuable.

Change they say is constant, and with change comes new challenges and without embracing it, you can't feel the joy with which it brings.

Mistakes often redirect you to beautiful destinations and totally redirects your focus on how things are rather than how things out to be.

We are bound to make mistakes everyday, so he who is scared of making mistakes is just content with existing, and that my friend is no life.

A life without an adventure is no fun, great things never came from being too comfortable.

It's easy to choose the safe and comfortable option, filled with less emotional reaction to loss of money or the feel of shame. In as much as it looks sweet in disguise, that won't mask the truth and the reality of things--your bills, expenses, obligations, dreams, goals and aspirations doesn't afford you such luxury of comfort.

Schools teaches you that mistakes makes you a failure, but life is a whole different ball game entirely. You can't apply school rules to life, that's a different question mark entirely which is always demanding you put your best foot forward at all times.

A new direction in life requires change, and a redirection requires having a positive attitude towards the way you react to making mistakes.

Change the way you react to your fear of making mistakes

Often times when we make mistakes we tend to want to give up and leave the idea behind us. Rather than do that, channel your mistakes into something positive, see it as an opportunity to learn something new. You are bound to have a better handle of things when you encounter such situations again.

Enjoy the process

Success is a long path filled with hurdles and difficulties which come in different forms. Every stage of your life demands the David in you to arise, however success is a slow process and it's not a smooth ride either. Love yourself enough to understand that you can't be successful without making mistakes, don't be hard on yourself.

Celebrate the small victories

Often times we never see and appreciate the small victories that we achieve because our focus is on something bigger and probably more visible as a totem to remember. The chances that give emphatic celebration to every single struggle and failure you face are slim to none, we tend to only (or mostly) celebrate the big wins. Most of us tend to focus too much on the big wins, always remember that every small victory is a step leading to your goals.

Celebrating your small victories will motivate and inspire you to keep going.

Many of us do that. Remember, every small victory is a step leading to your big goals. Break your large goal(s) into smaller chunks so that they’re less overwhelming. Every time you accomplish one of those small goals, act as if you just achieved your big goal.

 Understand why you’re afraid

Fear tends to develop from the negative things that accompany failure

We already determined that your fear actually comes from the negative things that accompany failure. It could be fear of losing a secure job, getting embarrassed or losing money. All of these are all real and understandable fears.

Whenever faced with a new opportunity, ask yourself what’s the worst that could happen and also ask yourself what’s the BEST thing that could happen. How will you feel once that goal is reached? Do the benefits of going after your dreams outweigh the negatives? Once you understand why you’re afraid, you can work around that fear and come up with a solution. Know your FEAR and understand your WHY, let your why be bigger than fear, success isn't the absence of failure but it's the presence of the courage and excitement to keep going.

Face your fears head on

Build a positive attitude to say yes to the opportunities that frighten you most, challenges often times bring out the hidden gems inside of you. Take chances and break out of your comfort zone. Facing your challenges heads on will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and thus making you improve on your weak spots.

Feel more comfortable about making changes in your life, care less about what others think of you, grow as a person, and learn more than you ever possibly could in a book. Just start doing things! Remember that the more you fail, the more you succeed.

Failure will happen no matter what but how you react to it says a lot about you as a person and where you’re headed in life. You basically have two options: The fear can either hold you back from even trying to do those scary things or it can propel you forward. We hope you choose to embrace fear, let it ignite your fire, and empower you to make changes in your life. Honestly, what’s scarier? Taking a risk or staying where you’re at forever? Brave soldiers have a better chance to victory when the own their mistakes and learn from them.

Use emotional agility skills

Emotional agility keeps you from indecisiveness when the mind is in turmoil. First, label your feelings. Then, confess them out loud to help diffuse them. Finally, accept reality and act on your values.

Identify your five most important values related to decision-making in a crisis. Then ask yourself how each of those is relevant to the important choices you face.

Fear of imperfection

Perfection is a myth the sooner you understand this fact the easier it will be to move on. Never be ashamed of making mistakes, it all part of life's process. Kill your fears of imperfection and activate your personal growth and improvement. Embrace your imperfection, it often leads to something beautiful and mind blowing discovery of yourself.

Life will keep throwing darts at you, you could either stand still and continue to bleed or learn from it and grow.

Thank you for the reminder. I teach my students to appreciate their fears because these in reality make them do better and push more to come up with better results.
